Very happy to recommend Denver Urology Clinic 4/2/2008

DH was seen for the first time by Dr. Weiss while he was hospitalized at Rose. Since his previous urology doc is no longer accepting DH's insurance carrier, he had to find a new doc. Post-hospital problems necessitated me calling them for help. Talked to the on-call doc who returned the call within 5 minutes. She advised me to take him to the Rose ER. She called ahead to alert them we were coming in. Good treatment from the on-call doc. Then I had to call a few days later with concerns. The CMA was immediately available, not something that would have happened at previous urology clinic where you go through endless menus then wait to be called back, sometimes a day later. The CMA at Denver Urology Clinic was very helpful and gave me the advice I needed.\r \r DH is going to see Dr. Weiss today for a post-hospital follow-up visit. We'll let you know how it went.\r \r 4/3/08 - It went very well. No waiting, saw doctor almost as soon as we were taken into the exam room. Dr. Weiss answered every question (you have to be assertive), nurse helped with a procedure we weren't sure of, front desk staff was attentive and helpful. In all, our first impression was borne out. Pros: Great customer service Cons: Parking is very inconvenient. more

pROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY STAFF 10/18/2007

Nobody likes to visit a urology clinic, but the staff at Denver Urology made be feel totally comfortable. I didn't have a problem with scheduling or payments. The doctors were complete professionals and the front office made me feel welcomed. Dr. Rosen is a highly qualified doctor. Just know that he is the head urology physician in Denver. Pros: The front office cares and makes people feel better about going to a urologist. Cons: You have to park in the garage, but they validate some cost. more

No gloves 6/27/2007

Dr Glick didnt even use gloves when he physically checked out my 'package'. The guy was basically man handling my weiner and man berries with his bare hands and didnt even bother to wash his hands AFTER checking me out. I wonder how many other man berries he was handling BEFORE me and what germs hes transfering from them to me!\r \r Freak! Pros: not sure yet Cons: handled my package with NO gloves! c'mon now! more

Horrible Customer Service 6/14/2007

Upon calling this office to ask for assistance, this is what I encountered...\r 1. No one ever answers the phone\r 2. The staff is rude and quick to get you off the phone\r 3. Unable to have my records transferred to another doctors office ( I thought they were MY records in the first place)\r Customer service is not their forte! more

If you want billing problems for months, this is the place!! 12/6/2006

We have had the worst billing issues with this office, concerning this office. We've been trying to straighten them out 6 months now. They send the lab work to all kinds of different labs, depending who your insurance is and when there's a problem, they don't remember where the lab work went to or who that lab subcontracted to do the lab work, so figuring out things is very difficult. Come to find out later that their labs didn't even do a full scale test of what they should have been testing. That happened three times! The staff is very rude. I have not gotten the $300.00 refund from the lab they used yet, which problem occured due to them sending the wrong billing codes to the lab and then then insurance receiving the wrong codes. I can't get them to help me, because they yell at me and hang up the phone, and refuse to help me, several times. Pretty hard to believe, I know. I work in the medical professional environment and would never expect any place to treat someone as I have been treated by them. I was discussing the matter with some friends of ours and it turns out that the husband of the couple had his vasectomy done there, and they encountered the same type of issues, with the poor staff and them making things difficult....WE ARE NOW GOING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO UROLOGY DEPARTMENT. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. RANDALL MECHAM.....SO FAR THIS PLACE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL AND ALL THEIR LAB WORK IS DONE ON SITE..GOOD LUCK TO YOU! Pros: NO PROS Cons: EVERYTHING, STAY AWAY, DYSFUNCTIONAL, BAD STAFF more

AVOID DEVER UROLOGY-DR. ROSEN'S OFFICE:INCONVENIENT, DYSFUNCTIONAL, POOR SERVICE 8/2/2006

This place is horrible! They travel around like gypsies to their different locations, totally dysfunctional and unorganized. My husband had some lab work done on the doctors request to help us determine why we couldn't get pregnant, because we already suspected the issue was with my husband. They never called back to discuss lab results, or what they mean, or where to go from there. We did contact them as to what to do next and they wanted more of the same thing that was already done twice, and couldn't give us a reason why. Also their office hours are quite something of and inconvenience as well, especially if you're a patient at their Brighton office. They usually don't answer the phone during business hours. An answering service or a recording comes on. The person at the answering service claims they don't really know much because, ""they're just the answering service"". Getting them to return calls has also been a hassle. And to top it off, we've been trying to get some thing resubmitted to our insurance company that when I called the insurance company, they said they should pay the claims and to have the office or provider resubmit them. The people at Denver Urology have treated me like I was some complete idiot for trying to explain the insurance issue. They were very unhelpful, and quite honestly made the whole issue very hectic. They finally got back to me after serveral messages and said that basically it wasn't their problem and to call someone else without giving me a phone number of where to start. They're not taking responsibility, and it seems to me that good PR and being a good patient advocate with insurance and otherwise is not their forte'. more
