I've been seeing her for a couple years now.. And WOW. She is one of thee best there. She's extremely creative and does a fantastic job at cutting hair. She can give an edge to any type of haircut which is perfect, since a lot of people usually get the same type. I've never left disappointed and actually went and told her to do whatever she wanted and I was still extremely happy with the result. She knows how to cut to your face shape so it's flattering. I would definitely recommend her if you didn't know who to go to.. Just cause hair grows back.. You still have to live with it those couple months. more

Best color ever! 7/27/2010

I have been seeing Blair at Gene Juarez since she was at the ATS. I find that she is very knowledgable in color and listens to what you want. She is shy, so you need to pull her into conversation, but that will change with time and building up a clientel. Do not hesitate to contact her for an appointment. Allow yourself extra time. She likes to have it perfect before you leave, which I find a pro rather than a con. Pros: Knowledgable professional Cons: None more

Amazing Brazilian 12/21/2009

Ok so I saw Naomi for a Brazilian. I've been getting these done for a few years now and know what to expect. She was super fast, and it was the least painful Brazilian I've ever had. She makes you feel very comfortable....despite how awkward this service can be. Anyone who needs a new waxer for this or if it's your first time.....go see Naomi!!!! Pros: Best wax I've ever had!!! more

Provide 10 dollar haircuts but charge 45-80 dollars! 12/15/2009

Since the renovated spa opened in Southcenter, quality has gone downhill. I had a HORRIBLE hair cut in the spring by Ricco, it was fixed free of charge, but my hair was MUCH shorter than I wanted. In September I decided to give it another chance. I had a wonderful haircut, unfortunately I did not get the business card of the stylist(which I am still kicking myself for). When I scheduled my hair trim I asked for the stylist I had last time. They booked me with Megan, who fixed my bad haircut. Unfortunately it was not who cut my hair in September. I now have choppy layers, my hair poofs and it just looks butchered. Only thing I will go back for are eyebrows, Heather does GREAT eyebrows. The receptionists are rude and why do they act like they are performing brain surgery when looking up a reservation? The ones who answer the phone are even worse. Never getting my haircut there. Waste of money, if you do take your chances bring earplugs there are a few stylists who have some of the most unbearable laughs I have ever heard. Megan is excellent 7/21/2008

I went to Megan at Gene Juarez Southcenter to have my hair done for my friend's wedding. Megan was friendly and professional. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and she re-created it perfectly! I've been to other salons trying to find a stylist who could create this particular style, and it alway came out incorrectly. Love the massages - scott was great! 12/31/2006

I have had 2 massages here. The staff was so nice even when i was late = eek! They did the whole pampering steam shower for free and scott always makes me feel comfortable even though he is a male masseuse. Wonderful experience. more

Getting it right in the South End 2/18/2003

Although smaller than downtown, the Spa at Southcenter has the same amenities as it's older cousin. From the relaxing foot soak on arrival to the wonderful Tranquility Massage by Rae, to the shower/steam and all the acoutrements for getting ready after a mind soothing experience. I was there for over 2 hours, enjoying my solitude without whiney kids. Best $80.00 I ever spent! They're now accepting male clients who share the robed waiting room, and have separate changing accomodations. It was discreet and comfortable. Pros: spa robes, close parking, great massage Cons: going home :( more

Mall Spa...convenient not relaxing 10/24/2002

Haven't had my hair cut here, but I for ten years I had bi-monthly facials & other spa treatments. I finally stopped going this past year after deciding the value of the service no longer matched the spa pricing. The Spa staff is knowledgeable and the facials were great, but other aspects of the "spa" environment are lacking. If you are planning to go, try their spa on a weekday. The rooms are generally quieter and the staff not so rushed. Pros: good parking, easy freeway access, knowledgeable staff Cons: crowed on weekends more

Free parking! 10/24/2002

If you want to avoid the hastle of paid parking, this is one of the better choices for your spa adventure. The Gene Juarez at South Center has similar services to the other locations, including a foot soak before a massage, and the european shower. Enjoy! Pros: Great parking, Less crowded, Shop 1st/spa 2nd! more
