I have been seeing Raeven for 8 years and have never had a bad experience. She has always done what I have asked for and when I told her to do anything, she's come up with great new looks! Great color each time and perfect haircuts. She does great with short or long hair. Anyone that I've referred to is still a client of hers. Well worth seeing! I was recommended by a coworker to see Juan for a cut and color. He was phenomenal! My highlights looked amazing, and didn't have roots showing as they grew out. The cut was fantastic, and he really paid attention to how I style my hair. I got compliments for days! The salon itself is kind of hidden, yet has a great vibe. So that's what it's like to have fun getting your hair done! Getting your hair relaxed takes hours but time flew by at Fulcrum! Everyone was really nice, and Jason, my hairstylist, actually paid attention to me instead of sticking me in a corner while he did other people's hair or leave it in to long so that my hair would fall out (which has happened in the past at other salons). He did an excellent job with my cut, I absolutely love it! Kudos to Jason! Oh, and he is not the only one who does bomb cuts! Sean did my boyfriend's hair cut and it was P-E-R-F-E-C-T!! Fulcrum is a small little unknown secret in Seattle. You're not paying for hype and marketing just amazing quality. My hairstylist Jason really knew how to give me a haircut that looks amazing whether I just let it air dry or if I want to do a sophisticated style. I get so many compliments on my hair color. I have asian hair and was always told I need to bleach it if I want some lighter highlights in it. He said otherwise and gave me beautiful highlights without damaging my hair. It looks so healthy and shiny.\r \r I drive all the way from the Eastside just to get my hair done by Jason! You will NOT be disappointed. After months of tireless searching for a salon that can do ""ethnic"" hair, I came across this cute and cozy salon in Seattle and I left the salon floating on cloud 9! My hair was goregous! I went in for a shampoo/condition/trim (my trio test when testing a new salon) and Sean did a fantastic job. He was GREAT! I was a little shocked at first and unsure that a white male could properly style a black womans hair (I usually only go to black salons) but he did an amazing job! So well in fact ,that I plan on seeing him again in a few weeks to have him perm my hair! If you want a great haircut or color by a fantastic guy, then see Juan! I don't care about the fact that you have to search around for street parking (since this place is downtown), because he's really worth the time that he takes to make sure you are satisfied with the finished product. I used to see him at a different salon that he was working at, but then had to do some serious searching (no thanks to his past place of employment..of course they wouldn't share with me!), to find out where he was hiding! I was just informed yesterday that he was recently nominated as one of the top stylists in the Seattle area for those with ethnic (haha..don't you hate it when people refer to your hair that way?!) hair, but I completely understand why. I have referred girlfriend's with all SORTS of different hair textures to him and they have always left very pleased, and with a game plan for healthy locks. He's fun, creative, and most of all talented. \r \r I feel so comfortable with him that I've totally relinquished control of my hair over to him. I know he's going to give me a great style every time and he always keeps it fresh. He also does an amazing job with color.
