Quantity, not quality. Service? Ha! 12/20/2011

Nice grounds, good selection of smaller plants and some larger such as Japanese Maples but when it gets right down to it, many of the plants they grow like Rhododendrons, etc. are substandard at best. They're obviously grown too close together for developing good growing habits. They may have the plant you want but you're going to have to provide serious pruning and care to get it to what it should have been when it was offered for sale. Nursery overall is about quantity, not quality; pricey too. The service? Go elsewhere if you want service. Poor at best, at times rude, knowledge is lacking and from our experience tend to flat out ignore you until you get their attention. It's as though they don't want to be asked for help; perhaps because they just are poorly prepared to provide customer service. If you really want quality, quantity & customer service then go elsewhere, like Wight's, Molbaks, or if you don't mind a drive, go to Christianson's nursery in La Connor. Skip Flower World; leave it to those who don't know any better. more

How Dumb Can you BE 1/2/2008

I read your posting about killing the 3 year old child. I want to know if you PERSONALLY knew this person, or his family? I DOUBT that because if you did, you would know that this person loved that 3 year old more then life itself, and he only had him in his truck because he had the child MORE then the father did! This man was a loving and loyal devoted friend, to his family & friends. Then to attack the families business because of an ACCIDENT, yes you read that correctly an ACCIDENT is so terrible, stupid and down right mean! Not only have I've shopped at this business, and is a WONDERFUL place to purchase flowers, and plants, there employees are great and there knowledge is AWESOME. Take your family there to visit and see the wildlife, walk through the beautiful landscaped gardens, enjoy a "family" day. I would love for all flower and garden lovers, to visit this wonderful company and it's family TNTFARMS INC. Grace more

More than just a nursery 4/14/2006

This place is a destination! The grounds are simply breathtaking and on a sunny day, it's worth a drive out here just to walk around and enjoy them. They have a new park area seperate from the retail area and there are walking paths, a fountain and lots of geese and chickens to entertain the kiddos. In the retail section they have every plant and tree variety that you can imagine and the prices are great - much more reasonable than Molbaks and I find them just as good, or better. more

You want greenery 4/13/2006

This place is fun to visit, even if you are not actively shopping for greenery. It is a drive (between woodinville and monroe) but worth the trip. They have a huge inventory of trees, plants, etc. Sometimes it is difficult to get assistance, but with persistence you will get the help needed. more

Great selection! 10/25/2005

This place is huge! The plants are organized in sections based on where they should be planted. For example all the shade plants can be found in a section. This is terrific, especially if you aren’t sure what you want you can wander and see what might look interesting and know it will do well in your north facing side yard. They have a wide variety and the prices are competitive with Home Depot and Lowes. A fun place to spend a Saturday afternoon! more

wow! 10/13/2005

Flower World is a nice local place to go in Clearview to buy the plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs you want and need for your yard. They have quite a selection and something to fit anyone's budget. There is always plenty of parking even when they are busy. The staff is willing and able to answer your questions on how to take care of your new finds. more

Best Selection in the Area 10/5/2005

Flower World probably has the best selection of any nursery in the greater Seattle area. Their prices are about midway between the chain stores (home depot) and more expensive nurseries (like Molbacks.) Flower World also guarantees their plants - if you follow all of their directions and you lose a plant you can get a free replacement. If you are starting a new garden or looking for more mature plants this is a great resource. They carry many plants and trees in much larger sizes than you find elsewhere. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed! Just be sure to bring your truck since you'll end up needing it. more

Humongous, sprawling grounds with great selection 9/16/2005

There's no way you've ever visited a larger nursery...The plants are well-cared for, and the selection is the best. They have an ENTIRE BUILDING just for types of roses, which are displayed alphabetically. The ratty-looking take-your-chances type of plants are very marked down. There's helpers everywhere of various knowledgability--just use your common sense- a male teen carting wheelbarrows doesn't know squat about mealyworms. more

Everything Molbak's has, but less expensive 8/17/2005

I love going to Molbak's--I really do--and there are some things I will always go there for, but if you're doing a lot of landscaping or gardening, Flower World can't be beat. Their +8 acre lot has everything from fruit trees, to herbs, to beautiful, flowering plants of all kinds. The place is a delight to walk through year round, and the pricing is excellent. During spring and summer, parking can be a bit beastly, but there's a beautiful, man made pond to walk around, and a little fowl pen where you can see geese, ducks, guinea hens and more. Give Flower World a try! http://www.flowerworldusa.com more

the walmart of nurseries 8/16/2005

Someone told me Flower World is the Walmart of nurseries, which is true. The place is huge, and the selection vast. The price is low compared to other places and the quality is average. Since the price is already low there isn't a lot of sales going on. They do sometimes have a sale (10% or so) after thanksgiving though. They have some interesting fruit trees that can't be found elsewhere. more
