I just came back from Feline's and I gotta say, WOW. I went there for a mini facial and Alex took care of me. She was so friendly and wonderful. This was the first time that I had a facialist who actually told me the truth and not try to push their products nor make me spend extra on a service that I really didnt need. She gave me tips on how to keep my skin healthy and glowing and was very knowledgeable. I left out of the spa with a brand new face with very little redness. I definately recommend Alex for any facial and will definately be coming back to Feline's for their wonderful mani/pedi's I keep hearing great things about. I am new to NYC and heard about Feline from a friend. I went to get a manicure for a wedding and have never had a better experience! The staff was great and my manicure looked amazing not to mention lasted for well over a week with no chips. I would highly recommend Feline!! Pros: Long lasting manicure more

I booked an exfoliating body treatment here based on the reviews. I received a great treatment from Helena. I hadn't booked anything else, but decided to have another treatment while i was there, and she was able to accomodate my request. I really liked Helena, and I would definitely go back again and ask for her. more

I love this spa for everything, but particularly for waxing! I have been a regular here for over a year and highly recommend Lucyna for all waxing services, she is the only one in the city that I trust for virtually painless and perfect bikini waxes. I live in midtown east and do not hesitate to travel to the upper west side for this spa haven. The service is always efficient and flawless and everyone is very friendly. I had a manicure done here, hoping it would stay on for 4-5 days during my vacation, however it lasted for over 2 wks without chipping! I loved the color (deep pink) and got comments everywhere about how polished my look was! Love Feline, they do a great job! Also, the lady who did my mani was sweet and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you need a manicure to last and look professional! more

I've tried lots of spas on the upper west side and am always disappointed with the amount I have to pay for the quality of service. Feline is by far the best spa in this neighborhood. Great deep tissue massages, waxing and mani pedi's! more

If you value your skin, you may want to avoid this place. I went in for the first time a few days ago and had a brazilian wax. I usually go to another spa but I thought I'd give Feline a try since it's so close to where I live. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. To start with the waxer was not friendly at all, no small talk or anything, and I had to help her out the whole time, holding my skin in different positions. The nature of the procedure was bearable as at least she worked really fast. I seemed to be fine until I got home, when I noticed my skin kept getting more and more red and then started peeling. I went back to the spa a few days later to tell them what happened and asked for a refund but they refused. I was told I was being nasty and all they could do was have me come back to meet with the waxer later to have her apply a cooling lotion. I had already scheduled an appointment with my dermatologist, so I declined. I've been to a lot of places for waxes, including cheap hair salons and this place was the worst by far! Beware! I love this spa! It's conveniently located for Upper West Siders and it means I never have to go downtown for a spa appt again. The facials there are fantastic and listen to their recommendations for your skin type. I used to have pretty bad surface acne and a bit of rosacea, but since getting a regular facial at Feline, both have cleared up. And the ladies who work there could not be nicer to speak to. I always used to feel uncomfortable at spas, but they are very understanding of when you want to chat and when you'd prefer just to sit and enjoy the experience. I also have gotten bikini waxing there, which was as painless as possible and looked great. All in all, I have been nothing but pleased with my Feline experience. While not the most pampering or modest treatment I've ever had, the almond lavender body scrub with massage did the job and left my skin soft and smooth. This was my first time at this spa, which I mainly chose because of the location since I live in upper Manhattan and don't have time to go to the east side or downtown for spa treatments unless I'm making a day of it. The amenities were pretty basic, and the service was not for the modest, but the service was professional and friendly. I was also impressed by the wide variety of products available for purchase. I had a wedding to go to and I went here for a mani/pedi and french tips. The Pedicure was amazing!! The girl who did it was just amazing! But then it came time for my manicure and french tips. I was told that they use silk insteasd of tips but that my nails were to short for this (I am a waitress so I have to keep them short). I was told thata woman who was going to do them with tips came highly recommended. I have gotten tips done about 20-25 times before this so I assumed that I was in for a real treat. WRONG! The lady was very nice and talkative. I noticed that she wasn't doing my nails corretly, but I thought maybe she just does it a different way (I thought she would fix certain things towards the end). I paid before she was finished so I wouldn't mess them up while they were try'n to dry. The total came to $184 without tip (found out later :just the nails were $119). I was shocked at the priced but paid anyway, as well as leaving a $30 tip for the two women to split. My appointment was running late so I had to rush out of there to go to work. I got to work and started looking at my nails. First of all, the tips were all different lengths, #2 the white tips (she painted it with white polish) were fatter on one side of my fingernail then the other side,#3 on my right knumb you could see a large portion of my real nail,#4she did 3 coats of gel on the right hand and only 2 coats on the left, and#5 it looked like I had gotten them done 3 weeks ago and needed to get them refilled the same day I got them done (there was a large gap where the cuticle and the gel meet). I was very upset, upset that I just spent $200 on this and it looked horrible, and upset that I was going to have to pay for them to be taken off and then pay to get them redone some place else. Long story short,"the owner" said she would give me my money back. She didn't and when i called to find out why she hung up on me. I just had a facial with Donna, and it was fantastic: she was professional, efficient, and did a good job of removing my whiteheads. My only (minor) complaint is that I felt like I was alone too much in the room -- there was a lot of quiet time. But, overall, it was great, easily the best facial that I've had in New York so far.
