I first went to Feline's with my cousin, who has been using Feline's for a number of years. She convinced me to come all the way into the city from Westchester just to have a spa day. Boy was I glad she did. Since my first beauty express day, I have returned for all my spa needs. They make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. The ambiance is very serene and soothing. I actually got my first brazillian there and have tried other places since, but have realized how different it can be from place to place. I no longer want to save time by going someplace in my own neighborhood, I am loyal to Johanna. She is the absolute best!!! Feline is awesome. So far I've been there for a facial, a massage, and a brazillian wax. Can I just say that it was my first brazillian and I will definitely be going back for a second. I was so scared, but the woman who helped me was awesome. It was so much less uncomfortable and painful than I thought it would be. I went in thinking that it would be the worst experience of my life, and ended up walking out smiling. And she did a great job. The facial and massage I had last year when my boyfriend took me in for my brithday. When I left the spa I felt like I was glowing and sitting on a cloud. I don't remember being so relaxed. They have great Brazillian waxings, and it is always nice to treat yourself to one of thier excellent manicures and pedicures. Best of all their pedicures do not use the machines that keep bacteria in them. Pros: very nice peaceful setting Cons: They are not open later more

My friends who are addicted to brazillian waxing finally convinced me to get one and even though I was scared out of my mind and have zero tolerance to pain, I figured I would give it a try before my Florida vacation...they also said that Feline is the only place they would go. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is great...the lady who did me, Kristina, was so incredibly sweet. She made me feel very comfortable even though it hurt a lot. I thought I'd be embarrassed but I wasn't at all...I'm going back tomorrow for a seaweed wrap...so excited. Pros: Ambience, Friendly staff, large menu of options more

Whenever I get a facial at Feline I always come out glowing. My fiancee, who is not the most perceptive person out there, always seems to comment on how good I look after I've emerged from my facial experience (that's the goal!!). The microdermabrasion is fantastic and takes all the fatigue and dullness out of my face in just one sitting. Go a few times in a row and you're skin seems to stand up better to the stress of life. I've gone to a bunch of different people at Feline, all of whom have done a great job. I made an appointment for a facial here because it was close to my friend's place on the Upper West Side and I was hanging there for the weekend. It's situated in a great brownstone neighborhood. I wasn't sure what to expect but the ladies at the front desk were polite and nice. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the lady who did my facial, but I was so comfortable and relaxed during my service I fell asleep. When I woke up and looked at my face I couldn't believe it. There were NO RED MARKS on my perfectly smooth face. I looked and felt 5 years younger. I was even more surprised that when I was walking down the street random strangers were complementing me on my skin! I was glowing. This is a true story and I have told it a million times swearing by this place. It was a little expensive but well worth it. At first I felt a little guilty about spending that much when I know a place in the same neighborhood that is much less expensive. After I experienced the results I was so happy I decided to go there instead. I was so impressed I bought my friend a day at the spa for her birthday which she fullly enjoyed and loved. I hope you enjoy the same experience I did and I am definately going back even though I live across town with millions of choices of places in walking distance from my apt. more

I had a facial at feline and it was just amazing! When I walked in I thought I was in a Parisian perfume shop. The place is so wonderfully decorated and I really felt like I was in a great place. My good friend Jen recommended it to me. She raved about Lucina and she was right! What a facial I had! I would recommend this place to every one. I first heard about the spa from someone in the neighborhood who swears by the eyebrow wax. I was sick of the cheap, quick fix, which did more damage than good. I've gone to the spa a number of times over the last few years and I am consistently pleased. Just before my wedding I treated myself to manicure/pedicure and waxing. The pedicure was not relaxing, and I ended up with a bleeding toe. They gave me 10% off the price, but I would rather have not had a cut on my toe. I didn't get much of a massage either, and the atmosphere isn't particularly nice. I wouldn't go back. Pros: Not crowded Cons: Not careful, pedicure doesn't last more

The Swedish massage was the closest experience to nirvana ever!! I highly recommend it and to top it off their staff was superb and beyond friendly. Te Feline signature facial was also an amazing experience. You truly come out of there feeling like a brand new person. It's a must ladies and gentlemen! more

This is a great place - which some would say a neighborhood find. But make a trip just up to the UWS for a great facial or pedicure. more
