Really Impressed Me! 4/16/2009

I was stuck in a major bind last week to plan my best friends 25th birthday. I must have called 10 different bars and all were either unavailable or asking me to put my credit card down (which isn't really my cup of tea). I found Birthday Party Booker last minute and it saved my life, literally. They set us up within minutes at 49 Grove with a free bottle of champagne and no cover. I was SOOO happy with everything, from the company to the way we were taken care of VIP at the lounge. Since then, I've already referred two of my other friends to use them when planning a birthday. Most Convenient Site Around 4/15/2009

I recently needed to find a venue for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday party. After several e-mails and phone calls that went unanswered from various bars and clubs, I came across birthday party booker and thought I’d give it a shot. Never did I expect the ease and efficiency of this service. The website is incredibly easy to navigate through…all I had to do was click on a venue (several to choose from) and type in all my basic info (name, party size, etc.). I also kept waiting for a payment page to pop up, but to my surprise it was completely free. We ended up having an amazing party at Aspen Downtown (even got a free bottle there) and my girlfriend couldn’t have been happier. Can’t stress enough how convenient this service was…I’ll definitely be back for the next birthday. more

You are making a mistake if you don't book your party on Bir 4/14/2009

There is simply no more efficient way to plan your party than through birthday party booker. No other source can make your birthday go as smoothly. The website allows you to pick the perfect place to have your party, and I guarantee that you'll feel like the VIP you plan on being at your own party. more

I’m the type of person who doesn’t need to be the center of attention, therefore planning my own birthday is the last thing I want to do. I use to get a ton of anxiety about setting up my birthday. With a last minute hail mary, BirthdayPartyBooker alleviated all this stress. It was pretty amazing. The second I clicked on submit, I had an email from one of their birthday specialist. I threw my very first birthday party last saturday and I admit, I was very skeptical about throwing a party for myself. I've been to many birthday parties before and this was my first time that I was going to arrange something in my honor. When I got in touch with birthday party booker, I was amazed at how fast I got a response and they told me not to worry, that my friends and I would have a great time. I thought, there was a catch. These guys proved me wrong, I had one of the best b-days ever.I didn't have to worry about a thing, no fees, no waiting on line, none of that doorman none sense. Best Party Ever! 4/7/2009

BPB is amazing! If you are twenty something looking to make an occasion special than BPB is the way to go. Prior to planning my event I was not sure what I wanted and none of my friends were much help either. In a moment of desperation I turned to BPB. After a few quick questions they nailed down exactly what I was looking for and gave me a number of good options. I ended up picking Pranna as the venue and was thoroughly impressed. A 25th to Remember 4/6/2009

Before BPB I used to plan my own birthday parties. I spent so much time worrying about the planning and ensuring everybody was enjoying themselves that I would forget to have fun myself. I remember my 23rd birthday spending the entire party outside trying to get my friends inside. It was a disaster :( My 25th was planned by BPB, and I finally had a great time at my own party. My friends and I were seated at the best table in the club, treated to complimentary bottle service, and best of all, not one of my 100 or so guests had any difficulty getting inside. Thank you BPB! Amazing birthday party booking service 4/6/2009

I'm usually the type to steer-clear of the New York City birthday party. Waiting on long lines so that a pompous bouncer can determine the fate of a night that is suppose to be all about you, managing the inevitable calls from friends who got rejected at door or those who refuse to pay an entrance fee, and of course having to debate whether or not to give up your month's salary just to sit a table and have a bottle of alcohol that you can get at a liquor store for an eighth of the price, have never been my thing. This year, I heard about a service that vows to handle all the hassles for you. At first I was reluctant, but a friend of mine whose birthday went unimaginably smooth, urged me to give it a try. After some persuasion, I visited the website, choose from a relatively large selection of venues, filled out an inquiry form and before I knew it, my birthday planning was well underway, without having to do more than click ""submit."" A day later, I am still in awe of the success of my birthday. Just as promised, there was no waiting on a line, no cover fee and no rejections. To top it off, I was given free bottles of alcohol and a table. Yes, for FREE. I was very stressed about my upcoming 25th birthday. I did not know where to turn to include all of my friends in my celebration. Soon as they pick up the phone was with no manners no respect terrible service, and when i finally got anything it was horrible ended up waiting for hours online, wrong drinks, 0 vip service just horrible if you gone use it run away from it. Worst Service Ever 3/3/2009

If they said Lines, Cover, and paying up the wazoo, I would have said no thank you from the start. I was promised not to have to wait on line. I did. I was told I wouldn't have to pay cover. I did. I was told a representative would attend for x amount of time. They didn't show. I was told a photographer would come and take pictures of us. This never happened. I was also told that I would have an area to hang out in and a free bottle of vodka or champagne. I got a bottle and they made me pay for it. \r \r This is the worst service ever! I used to work for this company and one Friday night I got home from work and decided to get to bed early. At midnight I was about to fall asleep when my phone rang. It was a girl whose party I had planned for that night. She was crying and very upset. Apparently the venue wasn't honoring the deal we had set up for her.\r \r This was a simple issue to resolve, all we had to do was get in touch with the venue manager and let them know they had messed up. Since I wasn't in direct contact with the venues, I called the owner of BirthdayPartyBooker to escalate the issue. At first he didn't answer my call.\r \r Eventually, after about 20 minutes and 3 phone calls, he texted me back that he was busy hanging out with his college girlfriend who was home for the weekend and that he didn't work after 9pm and that I needed to respect his ""boundaries"". I explained that we had made this girl a promise to help her and that I gave her my word and we needed to do something. He didnt care. \r \r I called the girl to appologize because she was the sister of my fraternity brother. This was the last night I worked for this horrible company. Best Party Planner in NYC 2/10/2009

So so impressed with Birthday Party Booker. I found the website on City Search and reached out to them and the venue I was interested in - basically, BPB got back to me within minutes and helped facilitate the entire thing. This is definitely the kind of company that should be in other cities (according to most of my friends that are either from LA or Chicago who have the hardest time finding the right place to throw a birthday party). BPB helped orchestrate a huge blowout at Forum Bar. The music was a mix of hip-hop, rock, 80's and the place was packed wall to wall with good-looking people. Flawless Customer Service and Over-Delivers 2/4/2009

My girlfriends and I do a joint birthday party every year and we've always done it with ourselves but we literally had NO time this year. Emailed BPB and within minutes they responded to my inquiry which was amazing. Since we are a fairly large group (not just the guests but we're 4 birthdays in one night), we kept changing our minds to please everybody and my birthday coordinator did not flinch at all, she just kept offering new ideas and opinions. The process was simple and enjoyable and the night went off without one hiccup. Everybody was impressed with the service and I would absolutely use it again in the future. NYC'S BEST KEPT SECRET 1/27/2009

My friends and I always pick random bars and honestly end up having a pretty decent time but it's always such a hassle figuring out where to go. Heard about birthday party booker on the radio and was definitely skeptical at first. But when I saw the website and read all the reviews, I felt as ease. it made my life so much easier. Free booze and help planning my birthday? I'd say that's a no-brainer. We ended up choosing Barna for my birthday party which was perfect. Music was great and the place was mint. I don't remember much from my birthday but I guess that's the point. I normally don't write reviews but this service/company really went above and beyond for me and it's my pleasure to give them a vote of confidence!
