Ryan was a huge help. I got in touch with him through his website and he gave me a call later that evening. He recommended a few places for me that I looked into online. I picked one in about 20 minutes and he put it all together. I told him what I was looking for and he hooked it up. We got a prime table in the exact location I wanted with a bottle and he even got us a free bottle. We got to the party and it was seamless. We got line privileges for me and like 7 of my guy friends (we only had about 3 girls with us at the time)... it didn't matter at all. All of my friends got into the club without issue and the host took care of us very well. I had a great party without ANY of the drama--definitely one of, if not THE, best birthday party I threw in NYC... and between my friends and I we've easily thrown about 15 parties in the city. I had heard about Bday Party Booker from a friend who saw an ad for it. It was so easy to browse their site for venues, and even easier to get in touch with them. Ryan contacted me immediately after I made the request to have my party at Katra. Ryan suggested Katra and he was absolutely right. I asked so many questions and he was still super nice and answered all of them. The night of the party, I was running a little late - and I got a phone call from Katra and an email from Ryan to make sure that everything was ok! When I got to Katra shortly thereafter , Chris, the owner had not only held down our spot, he directed my guests there whom were all there before I was. I was planning a birthday party for my brother and only had a few days to plan something out for about 12 people. I had my 29th birthday party at Johnny Utah's, and I had a great time. I had a group of 30-40 or so people, and Birthday Party Booker was able to reserve a whole room for my party. The managers and staff treated me and my guests very well. Beyond my party, the crowd was nice and the dj played an interesting but good mix of old-school and contemporary music. Birthday Party Booker was essential in making my sister's 21st birthday a success. I plan a lot of events, but BPB was able to execute a great event with last minute changes quickly and professionally. After changing locations to the e.village, we settled on Katra. I booked my birthday at the Empire Hotel rooftop through Birthday Party Booker. I had heard nightmare stories about people having to wait on an extremely long line to get in, or not being able to get in at all. I wanted to write a quick thank you to Birthday Party Booker for coming through for me and my friends last minute. I was trying to set up a 10 year highschool reunion and I simply couldn’t find a space that could host the event. On a last minute hail-mary, filled out an inquiry form on BPB and within a few minutes, a representative/specialist contacted me. I was really blown away with their response rate and ability to offer cool benefits by booking with them. To make a long story short, about 100 of my oldest friends were able to get together at a bar called Anchor. I really never write about my experiences online but I feel compelled to do so since I sinclerely had one of the best birthdays I’ve really had in forever. Last week, I decided to throw my birthday and was having the most impossibly time finding the right place to do it at. I looked everywhere and asked everybody for advice or some guidance. I stumbled upon BirthdayPartyBooker late on Monday (my birthday was that coming Saturday night). Almost immediately after filling out a basic inquiry form, somebody had emailed me back a breakdown as to what I was looking for, other possible options and a time that we could jump on a call to go over details. I was skeptical but figured that I should give it a shot, considering there were a billion unbelievable reviews on the service. After confirming the venue with BPB, I sent out my invitations and waiting patiently for my amazing night to begin. I wasn’t expecting this to be a clean sweep but WOW, I WAS SOOO SURPSISED! We should up the party and the doormen knew exactly who we were, my entire group was pulled of any sort of line and ushered into the bar where we had an entire area with a free bottle of champagne waiting for us. Throughout the night, all my friends kept complimenting my party planning skills and although I took those compliments and smiled, I knew deep down that it was this exact service that had made everything possible. The place was perfect, the table was fantastic (it was huge and swanky), the music was unbelievable, the drinks were great and the service throughout the night was just impeccable. I can’t thank this company enough. You should give this service a shot, they are the real deal and you will have the ultimate birthday experience without ANY of the hassle!! Wow, how dissappointing!! I thought it was a little fishy that this service had only good reviews. I thought they might be real, but I'm beginning to think that these guys write them themselves. The promoter seemed nice on the phone. He recommended the bar since he could get everything set up there and no one would have a problem getting in. He sent me a confirmation email indicating that I would get a table and a bottle of vodka. Even though he did offer up his cell to reach him in case there were any snags, he was unreachable when I called and did not call back. so...snag, snag, snag...rip The promoter had assured me that they had a great relationship with the bar, but the manager and owner had a different view. The bar didn't even seem to have a record of my reservation. Despite my printout of the confirmation, they wouldn't accommodate. They seemed shocked, and then confused when they saw the proof in writing from someone they knew. They made us wait forever while they tried to get in touch with the promoter. But the owner decided to just scrap it. The explanation was that he was an outside promoter and so they wouldn't honor the complimentary bottle with a table. But they also said that they spoke with the promoter and that there was no such reservation. So, someone's story wasn't straight and someone is a bad liar. And 'Great Expectations' was a great movie, but the denied expectation of a bottle really riled me. The snarky words were ""absolutely not!"" I hate having a sour attitude on my birthday. We left and had to organize the rest of the party elsewhere...why pay money to a place that needs psychological help! I would not recommend to anyone to use this service. I guess you get what you pay for...nothing for nothing. If this merited a law suit, it would be for pain and suffering. I think most of the bars on this service are the ones with bad reviews on other websites anyway and need the promoting. So, I would double check reviews and go directly through the bar.
