Best Bargains 8/2/2011

I went into Elliot Tire & Service to get and oil change and I was happy because not only was it cheap to begin with but I also had a coupon so it was even more money off. They also rotated my tires for free. I am so happy. They are friendly and have the best bargains. Thank you so much. more

They Deserve Every Single Star 7/27/2011

I want the dude who runs this place (Jeff) to be one of my dads. I came here for the first time for a second opinion on my car woes after going somewhere else that doesn't even deserve a mention. I was trying to opt out of the extreme violation they intended to commit to my person, my wallet, & my soul. After giving my new dad the laundry list of problems the other place had diagnosed (everything from an entire new brake system, cracked CV joints, filing a lemon lawsuit, ad nauseum), he snorted & said ""You need an oil change & new brake pads. It's going to cost 80 bucks."" I love you, new dad. We will be having a family reunion every 50,000 miles. more

These Guys Made My Day 7/27/2011

I came here for an oil change on my Scion, which I'd delayed for far too long... and seriously, it made my day. It cost me minimal dinero and took about 30 minutes, which was exactly what I'd been told over the phone to expect. There was not one peep about convincing me to do any other unnecessary services. Jeff was all around awesome -- friendly, helpful, and honest. I really liked talking to him. Oh and while I was waiting, in walked one of my professors! Apparently, she and at least one other professor from my school have been coming to Elliott for many years. That definitely upped their credibility for me. I'm new to the area, and as a young woman, I know I'm a great candidate to get ripped off. I wanted to be careful about choosing an auto shop, and I'm happy/relieved to have stumbled upon Elliott. I am definitely coming back here for my next oil change! more

These guys do things right 7/25/2011

These guys do things right, but don't do more than is needed. I won't take either car anywhere else. For car tires, they're the best. I recommend we return the favor! more

This store is different than all the rest. The service is so special you won't believe it. Whether you just stop by or have an appointment you receive the most friendly greeting the minute you walk in the door. Elliott Tire goes above and beyond. Not to be missed. more

A very negative experience 7/24/2011

We paid for an alignment and another goodyear shop informed us that Elliott had not aligned the car to specifications and due to another repair they had made, it was impossible to align the car to specifications. Their own Goodyear website says that driving a car that is not aligned is unsafe. Very disappointed to be charged for a service they didn't perform correctly and then to have our safety put in jeopardy. more

Super Fast and No Upsell! 7/22/2011

I've been to Elliott Tire three times now. Once to patch a tire, one time to put on a new set of rear tires, and once for brake service. Each time, I just rolled up in the middle of the day, stepped out of the car, asked if they could help me, and they just got right to it immediately. Super fast, no upsell, the guys are really nice, and they charge reasonably. For work like this, I'm very happy to have these guys within walking distance to my house. more

A Pleasure to do Business With 7/22/2011

I've been taking my car to Elliott Tire & Service for years. Everyone there is fast, knowledgeable, and honest. I remember taking my car after misdiagnosing the problem as something far more expensive than it was. Jeff could have easily overcharged me for unnecessary work but didn't. Usually he knows exactly what the problem is. Once he even predicted how many miles I had on the car, because he new how many miles it took to lose the timing belt. They're a pleasure to do business with, which, when I'm facing frustrating car problems, is an extra blessing. more

Straight up, down to Earth, really nice 7/22/2011

My 2007 Camry that I baby suddenly started blinking the ""Maintenance Required"" light. I freaked out and called Elliott's - I had read about the service here and had been thinking I'd go here for oil change - and told him the situation. He said, ""that's not a problem. The mechanic must not have reset the maintenance required light after your oil change. Bring it by and I can turn it off for you."" Straight up, down to earth, really nice, no sales attempts or scaring me into believing my car has problems. Ah! :) more

Amazingly Honest 7/20/2011

I thought my car might be leaking oil so I took it in to this Elliott. They were able to get me in first thing and called me promptly by midday. He said ""Well, I have to be honest. The only problem with your car is that there are no problems with it. If you want I can keep looking but all the basic tests came back clean. If you do find something later, bring it back and I'll run the advanced tests at no charge."" How great is that? He very easily could have made something up that I would have had NO clue whether or not I needed done. Very personable, very friendly, and my car has been working just perfectly! more

I Can Always Depend On Them 7/18/2011

In my experience, Elliott's has beaten TireRack's online price without even asking each time. Not only that, but they're good about letting me know if my brakes, belts, hoses, and misc items are in need of repair. I can always depend on them to fit me in - even when they are absolutely slammed. more

Seems that they have a very good set of people working there who are aware of such concepts as Karma. They haven't tried any tricks on us and so far they delivered what they promised. Big fan of the coupons as it's not just a first time customer only redemption. more

These guys do what they say they will do and not run-up charges - they DO call to confirm any required not ""suggested"" maintenance. Service and time availability has been very good for us as their clients. We took the first car after buying it with blind faith. They did all the inspections and some minor work.
