They kept my car for almost two months for some very minor damage. They were very eager to get me to bring my car to the shop but once it was there they couldn't be bothered to update me on the status of my vehicle. In fact I would have to call several times to get an answer for when my car would be ready... My insurance company could never get a good explanation for why they were taking so long to fix it as the estlimate said it would only take 10 days. It ended up taking 2 months!!! I 've talked to alot of people who have had similar experiences. They will let your car sit for several weeks without doing anything and try to squeeze every dime they can out of your insurance company. I did give two stars bc they did a good job on the car but it wasn't worth the headache. If I could do it over again I would use Bev Hills Autobody bc I've heard they do just as good of a job and are much more legit. Pros: good location Cons: very slow more

Excellent work, great job to my car 10/8/2009

Their staff is very friendly, and quick. they always kepted me informed on what they were doing to my car. When my car came out of there, it was beautiful. Looked brand spanking new. When it went in, it was tore up. I would definately let people know about this place. The offer refreshments too. Pros: My car is awesome Cons: a week longer that I expected, but worth the wait more

I agree with the other negative comments - there was no remorse in holding my car hostage for more than a month with nothing being done. They need a manager that takes responsibility for customer service. There are too many other shops in LA that will care enough and need the business to do a good job! Pros: Nothing Cons: No customer service more

Slow and expensive...don't take your car here! 1/22/2009

1. My car has been at Eli's for over a month now and they still can't tell me when it will be done...this is for a fender bender!\r \r 2. I call them every couple days for an update and they always tell me ""just a few more days"", but I talk to someone different every time and they all tell me a different story.\r \r 3. No one has called me once with a status update, I always have to call them.\r \r 4. The original damage estimate was $1500...their estimate after one month is now $11,000.\r \r 5. The only reason they get one star is that I'm assuming since they're taking so long (and because of the cost) it must mean they're doing a good job??? Pros: My insurance company didn't recommend them at all, which means they probably fix your car with the most expensive parts. Cons: SLOW SLOW SLOW...and they will lie to you about how quickly they'll get it done. more

Factory Quality and friendly service 12/3/2008

I took my Porsche to Eli's Auto Center to repair the rear bumper, they were very friendly yet professional. They gave me an estimate bill and repair time that was accurate to a very big extend. Their customer service kept me well informed of my car's repair status throughout the whole process. and i picked up my car as good as new, looking just great :) Definately recommend them!! more

Wonderful Service 5/8/2008

I had been in a crash and had to leave the country for work so I had a friend take my car in for me. These guys were great -- they called me on my international number to give me a total break down of what the damage was -- I should add that the insurance company looked at the car and quoted the damage was minimal and had refused to call me on my international number. \r \r Eli's did a detailed inspection of the car and found that the damage was serious and actually driving the car was a huge risk and should be written off -- ironic that the insurance company would have been happy to see me drive off in the car. \r \r The service was prompt and top notch -- I would recommend them to anyone and will get all work on my future cars done here. They put the customers interests first rather than monitary interests.\r 5 Stars all the way!!!!! The name of the gentlemen I dealt with was Hillel. more

best customer service and good quality work 4/26/2008

I brought my car to Eli's Auto Center to have my vehicle repaired. They said that it would take a week to repair it and they were on a timely manner to finish my car with great quality work. Not only that, their customer service was great, they were following up with me almost everyday to let me know the status on the repairs. If you care about your car I highly recommend taking it to them. more

BEWARE 4/22/2007

I took my car into this shop after a minor fender bender. When I called them a week later, they said that there was extensive damage, like I had backed up into a wall (which never happened). My car ended up having to be totalled, after a SMALL fender bender. They never admitted to the fact that they were the ones who totalled my car, but they were completely shady. So beware, your little dented back bumper could cost you a new car. Cons: Hid things from the customer! more
