El Presidente Restaurant

I really like this place! I've gotten the beef taco, beef tostada and the cheese enchilada combo. The two beef items were delicious; very flavorful. The enchilada was just ok. And the delivery was super fast! Only one thing to pick on, the menu online. I ordered one of the combinations and someone from the restaurant called to ask which combo # it was. The menu on GrubHub does not list the #s so I had to go online to see their site's menu to confirm. I feel that they could have done that themselves or should update the menu to show the numbers. more

Been coming here for years! Consistant great Mexican food. Same quality since they started out on Lill & Lincoln Ave. when they could only seat about a dozen people. The nachos taste as good as they did over 20 years ago. These folks have been in business for a long time because they know how to do great food. Yes, I do go to others, but, when we want to get something that we know we can count we are back here. There is a reason you see many Mexican people having dinner here. If you have to BYOB, a Corona would be good, the food is hardy so you don't want a heavy beer. If you're here after a night of drinking, isn't everyone a bit scary. Be happy these folks are open, most close up to avoid these crowds. Pros: Consistant food. Cons: TV'S more

Muy bien, y muy caliente!!! This is some of the best Mexican food you can get in Chicago. And you HAVE to get something with mole sauce on it. They have great mole sauce!!! I think it's funny they ask if the restaurant is romantic... any restaurant can be romantic if have the right company! :) Pros: Todos, (Everything) Cons: Nada, (Nothing) more
