my wedding album is to die for 9/3/2010

When I was growing up my Grandmother had three Communion photos above her plastic covered couch (which is another story for another day) that all said Edward Fox in the corner. My mother and father's wedding photos said Edward Fox, including the laminated wallet size ones. (which was either the thing to do back then or my parents were very misguided..,..or perhaps they were trying to match my Grandma's couch) ANYWAYS--all the photos I saw growing up said Edward Fox Studios on them. My family even had a story they would tell...when my mother, her sister and brother were all young they were posing for a family photo. In walks in one of the members of the family that owns it and says his name is Dick which makes all three kids giggle hystericaly.... I never thought I would use them for my wedding photos but after looking on-line and pricing people out I decided I would. So I went there to look at different books to choose which of their photographers would work best for what we were looking for....and in walks in an older gentleman and introduces himself as Dick..hand to god...true story.. Anyways..we chose them and asked to do a mixture of black and white & color and photojournalism style. I couldn't be happier. I have a photo up at work and people literally gasp when they see it. It looks like it should be in a wedding magazine and my wedding album is to die for. I will definitley be taking my own kids there for photos! more

I would recommend Edward Fox 9/2/2010

I'm stunned by any review that was less than 5 stars! Customer service, Marcia, and our photographer, Tunwa, were BEYOND amazing!! Marcia made me feel like an important client - not just a customer. Tunwa is an amazing artist with a vision and eye for his craft. I wonder if some people had a bad experience because they tried to dictate what pictures they wanted - this is an art, these people know what they're doing. I simply told Tunwa to show me where to go and what to do... he delivered! Our package was a more than reasonable price too. Tunwa was worth his weight in gold - he's amazing. I would recommend Edward Fox to all new brides and I plan on using them for all my future family photos and events. Thank you!! more

Amazing! 6/4/2010

When we were looking for a photographer to shoot our wedding we went to the usual Chicagoland places. We were pleasantly surprised when we met with the salesperson at Edward Fox. Jenee was friendly and helpful and answered all our questions, and we had a ton of them. She showed us albums and we saw many photographers portfolios. All of them were great and we decided to go with Ben. He called us a week before the wedding to go over every detail and we are thrilled with the results! The pictures are amazing! He captured our friends, family and ourselves beautifully and artistically. Ben is a very creative photographer. We were able to take pictures at downtown locations that are beautiful, but also have a special meaning for us. All the images from the church to the reception are now beautiful pictures we will treasure. He did a phenomenal job and we are thrilled with the results. more

not only did they do a Great job at my wedding..their photography is un-surpassed by none and they put together your albums in house..which means we didn't have to pay a middle man! Thank you for making our day a Precious Memory Never to Be forgotten! more

They can NEVER get it right! 4/30/2009

We were married in 07. I just got my pictures back, they mixed up the pages and put pictures in that I didn't want! We've been fighting with them for 2 years to get our order finished. They tried to oversell us at one point and they still can't get it right. I would NEVER recommend Edward Fox to ANYONE! Infact, I have advised many friends to stay away from Edward Fox. Horrible Horrible photographer, Horrible management, Horrible customer service, JUST HORRIBLE! more

A little too late 12/31/2008

This was the most incompetent Photography studio that I have ever known. The open an location in Houston, TX and then they close it out. It took me a over a year to get my wedding pictures and I'm still waiting a year and three months later for the rest of my proofs. Nobody can give you any detail in your order, they make offers and then don't comply with their own specials or forget about them... They have good pictures if you want to wait over a year to share your memories with other people. more

Awful- I hate my pictures! 12/5/2008

My photographer was rude at the ceremony and took awful pictures. I now only want to cry when I see my wedding pictures; one of the most important days of my life! All of my group pictures are probably 100ft away. After months of debating how to get things fixed, one of their sales managers said to me when I asked her if she would have them do her wedding one day and I quote, "I personally wouldn't have Edward Fox photograph my wedding." Smile 5/20/2006

Talk about a long history of tradition. This company has been in Chicago over 100 years. They specialize in wedding portraits, and family portraits of all types for all the big occasions in your life. I have seen people posing for photos with their famous statue out in front.There is a new statue of Thomas Jefferson that was just put up across the street in the Jeff. Pk. Bus depot that folks are now posing with. This statue is owned by the city. The prices here can be steep, but the job they do here is very good. more

Great Photographers at reasonable prices 10/5/2005

I used Edward Fox for my wedding pictures two years ago and they did a fantastic job. The photographer that was assigned to me called me a few days before and got all the names who would be involved in the main photos. He also asked if there were any specific pictures that I would like taken. Throughout the day, he was extremely friendly and courteous. He did a wonderful job developing my pictures and getting them back to me in a reasonable amount of time. One downfall of Edward Fox is that they do not put your album together for you. Other than that, it is a great place to hire a photographer. more
