Dubunne Day Spa

Dubunne day spa was an amazing experience, I did an outdoor couples massage (this was my first experience at a spa) It was so incredible. The staff was extremly accomidating and made me and my husband feel so comfortable. We enjoyed a private romantic bath with rosepetals floating in a jet tub, candles lit all around us and no interuptions. When the bath turned off we took our time getting out and snuglling up in our fluffy robes after we stepped out of the private room we were provided with beverages in a private waiting area until our massage tables were ready. Our massages were outdoors, but with the tranquility and comfort you wouldn't have guessed it. The dubunne day spa is a wonderful place to visit, i would highly recomend it to new spa goers and vetrans! Pedicures at DuBunne are the best! Unwind in the privacy of your jacuzzi suite and feel the stress melt away as the massage chair goes to work on your back. It's so relaxing that you can easily fall asleep! I always get a French pedicure with a design on my big toe. Angela does such an incredible job; it lasts for weeks without chipping. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. After your service, rest awhile in the serenity room with a cool glass of water and leave the spa feeling refreshed. I've gotten pedicures at other locations, but none compare to the quality and care that's provided at DuBunne! It's fun getting the compliments, too! =D more

My experience at Dubunne was amazingly great! My boyfriend and I had a couple's massage of deep tissue. The ambiance was very relaxing and the bathroom was exceptionally clean and complete with choices of what soap or body wash/scrub you feel like using. I also like the rain-like shower head. I love how they have the room especially just for us and we were separately enjoying our own massage yet we were close enough to be together. Unlike other spas where he and I were steps apart where the closeness was lost. Our masseuse got rid of the knots we have and focused on specific spots that needed more attention. I highly recommend the Dubunne's Couple Massage for an unbelievable experience. The whole experience is definitely worth it. Pros: Definitely two thumbs up! more

I have been going to Dubunne for over 15 years and to this day it is still the best spa ever! I consider myself to be a "Spa Girl" -it is my hobby. Everywhere I travel I use Dubunne as my benchmark...and let me tell you...there have not been many that have reached their level. Intimacy and personalized service are what I look for in a spa...and Dubunne captures that hands down. It is important that a spa make you feel relaxed and stress free and that happens to me each time I walk through their doors. The most amazing feature that Dubunne has is their Rainbar. This is offered with their scrumptious srubs and rainforest massages. The warm water raining down from the sky (that is what it seems like) is absolutely incredible! No other spa has this feature...most spas make you get up from your scrub and take a shower to rinse off but here...you just lay there and let that warm, relaxing water rain down upon you!!! Sheer heaven!! I have had facials at Dubunne that are so relaxing that I feel like I am in another world. Where most spas feel like you are in a hospital or hotel...Dubunne truly feels like an island...intimate and relaxing. I could go on and on and on.....just get yourself down to this incredible spa! This place is AWESOME!! My mother suggested I go with her to DuBunne for a chemical peel. Having gone to school in the area, I was unaware of its existence. I had been bombarded with school and my personal life and could use some uplifting ambience around me. I was greeted like royalty and swooped to the changing area to prepare for my spa experience. The rooms were so warm and relaxing, I felt at ease just being in the building. The esthetician was extremely informative very gentle. This spa was better than therapy and leaves you feeling like a million bucks. It was so soothing that it was over before I knew it. However, time always flies when you are truly enjoying yourself and/or the company of others. I purchased the products necessary to maintain my new look. As a starving college student, I could not afford to go back then but now I am a math teacher. It is my goal to pamper myself and return the favor to my mother. I have gone to many day spas not only in los angeles but in other cities and even visited spas in other states, Oh! I did not want to forget the day spas on the cruise ships. they were nice and it worked for me at the time. Once i visited Dubunne Day spa in Torrance, Ca I did not want to visit any other spa, now sometimes I do because people give me gift cards to their favorite spas to convert me over to what they believe is the best spa in town but I always seem to come back home to Dubunne's. Now I have given a few gift cards out to a couple of people for birthdays and mothers day of my favorite day spa (Dubunne's) and they have also been active goers to the spa now and have not thought about going anywhere else. My favorite visit was right after a week of finals. I could not get over the stress in my mind and body awaiting my final grades. I came to Dubunne's Day Spa and received a facial and full body stress free massage and I left out of the spa calling the ladies final exam stress relievers. I can not afford to come to the spa as often as I would like but when I do it is worth every second from the time I walk through the door. I get depressed when I know it is time to leave. Thank you guess for all you hard work. I just wanted to also let you know that before I visited Dubunne's I had never had a women massage me before it had always been a man because I believed that women did not have the strength to relieve all the stress I had but you guess provided me wrong. I have gone to DuBunne several times over the last year. Their service is very good and priced reasonably. I like the size of the spa-not too large and yet not too small to get most of the amenities you find at the bigger spas. I just noticed they have a daily special, will check that out! more

Du Bunne is such a great place to escape from your problems. The place is so soothing you forget where you are. well i got a body wrap and a scalp massage. it took about an hour and a half long but it was worth it beacuse they take good care of you. they The ladies are gentle and so friendly. It was Mother's Day when my Dad surprised me with a DuBunne Spa Certificate. Little did I know that I was going to be blown out of my mine as soon as I stepped into their Spa. What a wonderful place and what a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, accomodating and they make you feel like you are the most important person in the planet while you're receiving their services. I had just finished Nursing school and had been tied up with no time to myself for over 2 years so stepping into their Spa was like being on a vacation. Their environment is quiet and relaxing. All their services are worth every penny spent. They have a large selection of packages you could pick from scalp massages, steam rooms, full body massages, deep pore cleaning facials, outdoor jacuzzi's etc... Have you ever felt like you needed a vacation but didn't want to experience the hussle of airports, hotels, etc? Dubunne is the answer to your request. The moment you step into the spa, the stresses of day to day activities are immediately let go as the atmosphere is so calming. The employee's are so inviting and are there to assist you with a smile. I was showered great customer service and the Mimosas where an added bonus. I had a great massuese who catered to those stress points along my lower back and legs. The 90 minute messages was so engaging and soothing that I fell asleep. Dubunne also has great skin care products and I absolutely love their sandals. Sooooo comfortable. An absolute must have are the meditating CD's in which I use at night when I'm having trouble falling asleep. I would recommend Dubunne to anyone who is in need of a mini vacation but just cant find the time to plan for it. Wow!!! After having a baby DuBunne knows how to treat a new mommy. I arrived early to enjoy the jacuzzi and the atmosphere was heavenly. It was so peaceful that I forgot I was in the city. If you're looking for a relaxing get-a-way or a fun time with the girls, this is the place to go. Du Bunne day spa just keeps getting better over the years. It's intimate, but still has all necessary qualities of a full-service spa. One of my favorite escapes here was an afternoon I spent with some co-workers. We had the patio to ourselves. We enjoyed a fresh summer fruit platter which included strawberries & grapes. Along with that we had a cheese & cracker platter with cheese such as brie. Our choice of beverage included champagne, fruit juices, & water. While two of us enjoyed a facial - on the patio in a covered area - the others were able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors in cozy spa robes & slippers while listening to a relaxing water feature until it was time for their turn for pampering. When it came time to the pedicures, we were taken indoors & enjoyed the plush spa chairs. The changing room is equally relaxing with a separate changing & locker area from the showers & steam room. What a treat. On a different visit I enjoyed a pregnancy massage. The gentle massage helped to take away the pressures in my legs & lower back that come from being pregnant. After that I was able to take a short & refreshing nap in their relaxation room just down the hall. In here are lounge chairs with foot rests; cold water with cucumbers or lemons & limes to enjoy; a soothing wall mounted tv quietly playing scenes of beaches, streams, deserts with the wind blowing across them & waterfalls. This is the perfect place to continue to unwind until you are ready to face the world again. Du Bunne is my favorite day spa in the south bay & highly recommend it to anyone looking for an escape or rejuvination. It was the Friday evening after Thanksgiving. Stressed-out, bloated from large meals, and getting ready for the impending Christmas rush, my husband and I finally used our gift cards from DuBunne Spa for a quick couples getaway. My God, did we need it!!! We decided on the Tropical Spa Pleasures for Two. First of all, the service is wonderful. From the front lobby staff to the massage therapists, these people are professionals who care about customer service. They truly wanted us to enjoy ourselves. They knew overworked, overtired people when they saw them. We felt like a King and Queen! Upon getting into our robes, we were escorted to the gardenia-scented outdoor bath. It was luxurious, and housed in a private gazebo. We both drank champagne and cuddled as we felt our tension melt away. Is this place really just a 20-minute drive from our home? It's truly hard to believe. After our bath, we were escorted to a tropical, outdoor pavillion where two very comfortable massage tables awaited us. Our therapists were both lovely women who immediately asked us where are "trouble spots" were. We were treated to fabulous one-hour massages where tropical-scented oils were used. New-age music played softly, and about 30 minutes into the massages I heard a snore from the next table. Yes, my husband was superlatively relaxed. When our massages were done, we sat in the Relaxation Room just outside the locker rooms and drank more champagne. It was exactly what we needed. For any couple whose lives are consistently on-the-go, this is a great way to take that much needed break and a chance to reconnect as a couple. It's so close to home and yet so magically far away.
