If you want excitement and love call your parents. If you want a DOCTOR to deliver your baby and make sure your wife is okay call Dr. Irvin. more

I've seen her for 5 years. She had little bedside manner. I had 2 pregnancies with her. Over the weekend, I ran out of birth control pills and my pharmacy called and told me to call the dr office and leave a message that I needed a refill today so I wouldn't miss a pill. They said it wasn't a big deal and the nurse or dr on duty would fax over a 1 month refill. I called and left a message with the dr office. Within 5 minutes, DR IRVIN called me which I wasn't expecting. I answered the phone and she said, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" in a very rude tone. I briefly explained. She started yelling at me to not call her for refills. I told her what the pharmacy said and was very aplologetic and said I didn't know I would be bothering her. She started yelling at me again. She yelled "DONT EVER CALL AGAIN!" and she hung up. I was in tears by the end of this conversation. I am so disappointed that she treated me this way. She was so unprofessional and I will not be seeing her ever again. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Irvin's for 8 years. I had several miscarriages, and Dr. Irvin's no-nonsense and logical advice helped me to conceive successfully and without the help of drugs or other methods. Two children later and pregnant with my third I have found her efficient, knowledgeable, and I know I am in the best hands. more

I have been a patient of Dr Irvin for several years. When I got pregnant, I saw a different side of her. For one, when I was tested pregnant, she did not bother to congratulate me or show any excitement.I decided to overlook that, since she is such a busy person. In the first prenatal appointment, I expected her to ask me, "any questions?" ,but nope, she did not ask that, this was my first pregnancy, very excited, nervous, and full of questions. Then I told her I had some questions, and she apologized for not asking me. Then in a few weeks, the worst happened, my ultrasound did not show any baby. I had a blighted Ovum. But she gave the news to me like it was nothing. The truth is hard to hear, however a doctor should be a little sensitive in giving this news, its a miscarriage, not a bad knee pain or something. She did not bother to monitor my hcg level to see if I truly had a blighted ovum or maybe dates being off. She is a good doctor but insensitive. Anyways, after that I decided to switch my doctor. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Michelle Irvins for almost 8 years. Dr. Irvin only does childbirth deliveries at Round Rock Hospital and affter the birth of my first child I was hesitant about having another child at Round Rock Hospital but I decided I liked Dr. Irvin too much to get a new doctor so went back to her for the birth of my second child. I had a rough first pregnancy dealing with high blood pressure and I was very impressed with her and her staffs concern for me and the baby. The staff set me up with a home based nurse when Dr. Irvin put me on bedrest and I went into the office 2 times a week. I was always seen quickly, dealt with professionally, and never felt like I was being rushed out of the office. When I have my third child I will definitely be going back in to see Dr. Irvin. Dr Michelle Irvin has delivered two of my children and she is by far my favorite OBGYN. Her practice is set up with two other female OBGYNs and they have a very nice set up. Their office is nice, clean and contemporary. You usually don't have to wait very long, although a couple of times due to another delivery I have waited for a half hour. She asks all the right questions and is quick with answers. Every time I called her nurse with questions I received a call back in a very timely manner and they were always very concerned. I give Dr irvin the highest marks for her professionalism and concern. more
