GREAT JOB DOOR-MART 7/11/2013

I've had repairs done on my old garage door done in the past and was always left feeling stupid and confused. I called Door-Mart and set up an appointment, The service man was running late, but I recieved a call from thier office letting me know he was running 1/2 hour behind. ( ya dont get that very often ) The service man arrived and checked over my door and motor. He found several problems and explained each one so i could understand what each one was. he didnt use a bunch of fancy terms and explaind things very well, and asked if i understood and didnt treat me like an idiot. He then gave me a quote for each repair, along with options that were available to complete the work. My springs were not correctly "balanced" and in turn stripped out a gear inside my motor, I also needed to lower my safety eyes to get withen code. The cost was not what i expected........Not only did he move the eyes for nothing and lube my moving parts for next to nothing he gave me a deal on the gear and adjusting the springs. The service man was very knowlegable and personable. I would use Door-Mart again for sure. Nice job Rich, JOB WELL DONE more

Excellent customer and technician service 4/11/2013

Called them, Jonathan customer service rep was very polite. Set appointment, they arrived when they said and even a little earlier which was great! Gene the service technician I was told by my husband who is not easily impressed, raved about Gene's professionalism,politeness and overall knowledge of his work. Gave my husband some very good info. Will certainly use them again if the time comes and we are in need of garage door help! P.S. called to give feedback to the company and the person that answered, sorry I didn't get her name was so very polite also. Maybe the company's motto is "we only hire nice people." How refreshing! :) more

Outstanding followup service 1/16/2013

We had used this company before as a routine maintenance job in Petaluma. A year later, a new noise was slowly growing. We called for an estimate, scheduled a service date and the job was done well. But later that night, an accidental drip of lube grease dropped from the track to the floor. Unnoticed, it was stepped in and tracked into the house and onto the carpet. I called Door-Mart and they offered to have the carpet professionally cleaned. They bent over backwards to please us. It's one thing to rate a business when things go right, but when things go wrong, you really find out how good they really are. Door-Mart is the best. We will use them again and recommend them highly. more

Technician Cher is a true professional 12/22/2012

I am writing to discuss my pleasure with a certain technician of Door-Mart. You will be super fortunate to have Cher take on your project. This individual is professional an proficient. He gave me the kind of service that I only expect from a 5 star restaurant. My garage door is old and heavy and Cher managed to lighten its load and correct its defects with out burdening my wallet. I feel fortunate to have met him and worked with him. I am confident that technicians like him are hard to find but that a class A company like Door-Mart attracts and retains talent like Cher which is why I am happy to provide this positive review. Your technician, Cher, saved the day! 10/10/2012

I was not a satisfied customer at the onset of your service. I called for my 85 year old Mom's garage door. The 1st tech that was sent out took her check for payment but did not repair the door properly. After a couple of conversations with Victor,another tech named Cher was sent out. He was so professional, knowledgeable,detail oriented and fixed the door within a half hour. I certainly will refer your company to my family and friends and suggest that they ask for Cher! What a great guy !! more

Attention to detail gave me a beautifully installed garage door. 8/16/2012

I recently needed a replacement door for my father's house in Arden Park. I called several companies, but felt most comfortable with you because of my initial conversation with Pete. He explained the options and provided an estimate for a standard replacement. Even though there were several non-standard additional charges, the installer was able to explain what would need to be done on the 60 year old house to result in a very well done job. The bid was itemized and presented prior to installation. Everything turned out great. more

I think Jeremy is a super professional and knows what he is doing. No nonsense. 8/7/2012

They were very punctual and exactly on time. The sensor was not working, wires were everywhere and the door did not close tight to ground. I watched Jeremy and he was very neat. When I explained, he understood and in 15 to 20 minutes he was finished and it was so neat. After a few days the performance of the door was good. I liked his work. He had no problem with communicating either. I will have him come back in the future. Great Job. more

Will Not Use Again 3/8/2012

Had two garage door springs replaced. Labor charge was $149.00 per hour with total bill of $252.00. Tension of springs not working correctly. Called to have adjustment and was told that additional labor would be needed at $89.00 per hour. Told him to forget it. He then spent five minutes to make adjustment at no charge. Everything about this billing is excessive. Will not use this company again. more

I am very much pleased with the excellent services I received on the late hour on Friday 3.2.12 from "Grant" whom I had the pleasure of speaking with via telephonically with utmost courtesies. Our garage door was repaired by "Ted" on a timely fashion, coupled with "Ted's" excellent service. Moreover, me and my sons were able to sleep through the night without worries. We saw Door Mart in a local Penny Saver advertisement and tried them.. Thier price was lower and thier service was great. We are not switching back to the other company.. more
