At 6:40 a.m. I discovered my door was broken, and I needed to get to work that day. Of the 3 companies that claimed emergency services, Door Mart was the only one who answered the phone. The man who answered my call said he would have someone out in approximately 45 minutes and quoted me an estimate. Sure enough I had James working to repair the broken spring and cables within 45 minutes. It took him about 1/2 hour to complete the job and my door was working great. He was quick, professional, courteous, cleaned up his work area and gave me some hints to maintain the door's operation. The quoted price was pretty much right on. I was very satisfied and have already mentioned Door Mart to several people. I was on my way to work by 8:30 a.m.!! more

Outstanding and Efficient Service 11/4/2010

Prior to this service call, I have always used Overhead Garage Door of Stockton. Going forward I will use Door-mart based upon my very positive with technician Jeremiah. He arrived early, was very clear in explaining what was required and offered me advice on what I could do to maintain my equipment. He was also very efficient in getting the work done quickly so that I could prepare dinner for my 92 year old mother and still make it to an engagement that evening. The garage door which heretofore was I will definitely request Jeremiah again and recommend Door-Mart to my friends. This young man is very polite and trusting. Please pass on my sincere pleasure and appreciation for his timely attention to my emergency. My garage door has never been as quiet as it now is after this service. Excellent Service, very professional 9/13/2010

Gene came out late in the day when we realized we had a problem, most companies would charge after hours rates. He was very professional and explained what he was fixing and why it needed to be done. He also explained what caused the problem in the first place. We had another company come out before and all they said was "I'm done and it's fixed". We would highly referr Door-Mart to anyone. more

I am very impressed with the way your company and employee worked with me. I asked someone to come out and didn't remember that I owed them for the visit. Another company said that they would fix my garage door for less; so when your employee came, I told him I wasn't going to use him. He talked to your office and they brought down the price. I thought the work wouldn't be as good; but when I went out to lift the garage door, it slid up with the touch of a finger. I was absolutely surprised at the quality of the repair because of the damage to the door in the first place. Excellent customer service and work. 6/14/2010

The Door-Mart service team was absolutely wonderful. They had a tech sent to my house almost immediately for my quote. I never had to call them back. The tech who came to my house explained everything very clearly. The pricing was very straight-forward and very reasonable compared to other quotes I had before this one. There was no hold up on the work. I got the call to schedule my installation within a week or so, when the door came in. The tech came out and had the door installed within just a few hours. It looks 500 times better than it did before. The only problems I had with any of it was the haul-away. I wasn't expecting to have to dispose of the old door myself. And as an average size woman, it was not easy to tear apart to fit into the back of the pickup I had to use. I didn't feel like it should have been left for me to deal with alone. I was told we had discussed, but I'm positive I was not. Otherwise, everything was great. Thank you! more

Door-Mart is a good company to do business with. I decided to use them because I liked their product line and pricing, as well as the salesman who dealt with us. They installed 2 garage doors and did an A-1 job. They were confident and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them. more

Great people to work with. 11/4/2009

I was hunting for good prices on a new garage door and thought that Door-Mart offered the best price. I called them, ordered the door, and they were able to come out and install it the next day. Both the salesperson I spoke with and the installer treated me well. The installer did a great job. We are happy with the work that they did and have no complaints. When you need a door, Door-Mart does a great job. 11/4/2009

Door-Mart was the first company that took my call and I did not even shop anywhere else. Their communication was good and they did a great job installing my garage door. I really liked the installer, who was very professional. After the work that they did for me, I referred them to five of my neighbors and they did installations for all of them. Competitive price, excellent follow-through and commitment. 10/1/2009

I decided to use Door-Mart partially because of their price and also because of the individual they sent out to work with us. He was knowledgeable and competent. He initially came out to look at and assess our situation, which was out of the ordinary because we had a tight space and needed to frame the opening. He was very consultative and I felt confident working with him. I are very pleased with the new door and track that he installed. I would recommend Door-Mart because of their competitive price and their excellent follow-through and commitment. more

Excellent service and knowledgeable installer. 9/30/2009

Door-Mart provided excellent service. I made an appointment to have them come out and evaluate my garage door. The installer they sent was great -- on time and very pleasant. The installer offered to fix the door but I decided to have him replace it entirely, even though it would have been less expensive to just repair it. I am very satisfied with the work that he did. I am planning to use the same guy again to install a larger garage door for another home I have in Berkeley. more
