Good casual clothes; not as good business wear 10/21/2006

I unfortunately didn't have much time to look around here, but it seemed like a pretty nice place. My only disappointment was that it was pretty much all casual, and you can get cheaper, nicer business clothes elsewhere in Lakeview. However, for the casual genre, it's a good place. I didn't find anything the day I went in, but as I said, I didn't have time--I'll definitely go back the next chance I get. more

Work clothes and club clothes 10/17/2006

Its great when you find a place that has all of the 'business' casual clothes you need and the ones you don't need underone roof- for an awesom price more

honest employees 10/17/2006

Its good to go to a place where they have cute clothes and people that will give their real opinion about the fit and style more

Great Deals! 10/17/2006

I love all of the neat clothes they have, every time i go back there is something different. There are really interesting skirts and dresses more

bcbg and sevens jeans! 10/7/2006

They have alot of designer names for hardly anything, i got a nicole miller dress for 30! And a pair of abercrombie jeans for 12. more

Wonderful accessories 10/7/2006

I love necklaces and earings, but unfortunately cannot afford high retailer prices, at this store they have sterling sliver pendants and nice earings for an affordable price. more

Great for my meager budget. 3/11/2006

I'm a student and I don't have a lot of money to spend on clothes. It seems that I have sort of expensive taste though. I got 2 skirts(one was French Connection)and 3 really cute tanks tops for under $60. I love this place! more

I just found this place! 2/15/2006

Actually, a friend recommended it. He's been shopping there for a few years. The guys clothes are downstairs and they have nice stuff. Armani Exchange and Diesel and good shoes. I got a pair of brand new Pumas. I'll definately come back here! more

My Secret is out!! 2/14/2006

Ha! I've been shopping here for years. It's been consistently good shopping and it's a great place to trade clothes as well. I rarely leave without finding at least one thing that I HAVE to get. I shop for my boyfriend here too. Pros: Inexpensive, Good brands, Easy to park more

Great Shopping! 2/11/2006

I got a pair of Paper Denim Cloth jeans here for $30. That's like $100 under retail, maybe more. They have a great jean selection. I also got some cute Charles David pointy shoes($14.) I'm actually surprised to see a bad review for this place, the staff was very nice to me. more

My new favorite resale store! 2/7/2006

Just got two sweaters and a pair of diesels for under 60 bucks. Awesome. The employee was nice but definately not overbearing. Lots of great stuff. Will definately go back Pros: Cheap clothes, Good brand names, organized more

This place is a disgrace! 1/17/2006

I'll never sell clothes or shop here again. Employees were extremely rude and snobby. The clothes for sale were ugly & I didn't get much for the clothes I brought in. I took my clothes to Plato's Closet where the employees were friendly. more

  • The Scene
Shop this no-frills resale shop and you'll find a neat, organized assortment of men's and women's clothing. The store offers cash upfront for casual clothing not more than a couple years old. Sellers get half of the value determined by the storeowner in cash or as a trade for clothing in the store. The main floor is primarily women's clothing, with men's clothing and more women's clothing downstairs. Three dressing rooms per floor make it convenient to try on picks.

    The Goods
Unlike consignment stores with more expensive designer or vintage clothing, brands such as Banana Republic, Diesel, Abercrombie & Finch, and Gap hang on these racks. For $25 you can usually buy a whole outfit. Tops are generally in the $8 range and pants are in the $12 range. The store also sells jewelry, sunglasses, tights, a few purses, shoes, belts and scarves. They sell more T-shirts than anything else.
