I recently ate at this and had a horrible experience. Our server was bitter, the app was cold and the burger was aweful. I think the bread was a few days old and the meat was over...

Good coffee 6/11/2008

Went on a Friday night and actually found a booth to sit in. Pros: The beer, quick service, vegetarian options more

Worst burger 4/10/2008

I recently ate at this and had a horrible experience. Our server was bitter, the app was cold and the burger was aweful. I think the bread was a few days old and the meat was overcooked. The pitcher of beer we ordered was the best part of the night. A total waste of $20. Pros: Good location, good beer selection, interesting atmosphere Cons: Poor service, horrible food more

Best Beer 7/22/2007

I recently went to Dad's and i had the best beer ever! They have their standard beers pouring at every location, but each place has a couple special beers and dad's beats all of them! I even saw that you can do tours in the brewery, which i thought was pretty cool. Pros: beer, beer, beer Cons: service can be alittle slow more

Great place to watch that game when it might be packed else where 11/1/2006

Was able to watch the super bowl here without a HUGE crowd. Could eat and drink without a BIG wait for service. more

Who's my Daddy 12/21/2005

This place is great on all counts. My only regret is that Casey has left for the Madrona Alehouse. Still, the service is great. Pros: Beer, Food, Service Cons: parking (sometimes) more

Captain Neon to the Rescue! 10/15/2005

Man, Dad Watson's is the BEST!! My boyfriend and I end up going there most of our ""dates nights"" to celebrate yummy burgers, great beers and a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. Pros: Captain Neon Burgers, the seasonal beers, cool environment more

Great Happy Hour Pub 8/18/2005

Good pub grub, big portions and good beer. I only wish they didn't allow smoking, it just makes the food taste a little less yummy. Pros: Food, Beer Cons: Smoking more

Try the Cheeseburger 4/25/2005

Great hamburger. I drive from the East Side to Dad Watsons. My Vote! more

Great Pub Fare 12/19/2002

Our favorite McMenamins in Seattle, Dad Watsons is a fine local pub. If you're new to McMenamins, be prepared to try some of the best microbrew in the Northwest (don't dare ask for a lager) and some very good, typical pub fare. One thing I love about the brothers McMenamin is how each location is truly unique, and retains a strong tie to the neighborhood. Also check out the art on every exposed surface, always a fun trip. Pros: great beers more

When in Freemont visit the Daddy 10/24/2002

Fun Freemont hangout with decent Happy Hour that can accomodate large groups, fresh pints of rather average Oregon beer, great Irish coffees. Ambience is not as good as The George and Dragon, but nonetheless a deserving choice for your booze money. Pros: Good for groups, Great Irish Coffee Cons: Average beers, Street parking more

Standard McMenamins 5/15/2002

In Seattle, Dad Watsons stands out a bit as a cool McMenamins pub. In Portland, it would be overshadowed by several much cooler McMenamins pubs. But as an unassuming joint in Fremont, it's all right. Standard McMenamins food--love those fries--and beers. Pretty crowded on weekend nights. more
