Love the quality, my favorites are the carrot cake, mint chocolate, and strawberry short cake. A bit pricey but worth the indulgence.

Worst

Anyone who thinks these are the best cupcakes in town probably also rates Hostess at the top of the list. Pros: Good coffee Cons: Skip the cakes

Cupcake shop???? 8/4/2008

Is this a cupcake shop that sells coffee, or a coffee shop that sells cupcakes???? Somebody please clarify this. I thought it was a cupcake store, hence the name Cupcake Royale, however they are consistenly out of cupcakes within 3-4 hours of the store closing. Apparently this ""rarely happens"" according the manager, but when you live in the neighborhood and try unsuccessfully at least 7 times in the past 3 weeks (that I can recall) I would say that is more like an inventory problem. I am not going in 5 minutes before the store closes to buy a dozen cupcakes, I am going in no later than 2 hours pre-close to buy 2 cupcakes. Pros: Nice neighborhood Cons: Everything else more

This is a brillo pad with frosting! I rather eat a TastyCake 8/23/2007

So I had recently went to this store and Trophy cupcakes. I am writing this review because I am terribly disappointed in the Cupcake Royale cupcake. It's like a brillo pad. The cupcake is anti-moist. The frosting is lacking in taste. I would rather eat a Tasty Cake ( if your from the East coast you know what I'm saying). This is not worth the time or money. Please improve or I just can't come back. I've given this three chances. You guys are even closer to where I live. I hope someday I can feel like a princess when I come into this shop but it all falls short when the counter staff is rude and I get a dry cupcake. Best cucakes in town, hands down 10/29/2006

I enjoy coming here, especially in the summer since there is a park right across the street and I take my daughter there after our ""cupcake date"". It is a great place to go and chill over a nice latte with a yummy lemon drop cupcake!! Pros: great selection on flavors Cons: if you get there too late, you miss out on the cupcakes more

Cupcakes fit for a Princess 8/15/2006

If you bring your children here, they will have a hard time making choices out of the abundance of beautifully decorated cupcakes. And they passed the taste test...luscious treats, but not too decadent to order several to go. Love this tiny neighborhood with fun shops and a variety of restaurants.
