Critter Ridder

Hired these guys to extract a Ringtail cat from my attic and repair access holes in the roof. They tout their 100% guarantee of fixing the roof and catching the critter. After thousands of dollars paid, assurances that the roof was fixed nd several months of occasional visits from their staff, we had to get actively involved. We installed a night vision video camera to prove the critter was still in the attic and coming and going through a hole in the roof. This was when they broke out "this might have to be an additional fee" conversation. After I reminded them of their guarantee, that argument seemed to subside. After watching videos of the critter going in an out of the live trap without setting it off, we convinced them to alter the trigger mechanism and to tie down the food to make the trap more likely to work. Finally, we caught the creature last week. This week Critter Ridders returned to do final cleanup as that continually warned us to steer clear of the animal droppings as it can carry diseases. Well, what did I see on that same camera I installed, but their employee kicking the droppings into my attic insulation. These guys are not expert in what they do, nor is the company one I would ever recommend to anyone based on our experiences with them. more

They are extremely expensive. They did a lot of work to get rid of the raccoons in my attic, but when the raccoons returned, they were unwilling to fix the issue. They also messed my air conditioner wiring when they fixed the siding of my chimney and they were unwilling to reimburse me when for the repair costs. more

Good: Polite. Willing to keep coming out.. Bad: Expensive. Didn't address everything they said they were going to when they provided their estimate. Still have the critter. Still have a hole in the side of my house that they said they were going to close up the next day when they returned. Left a trap, said they'd be back the next day, that was several weeks ago, haven't heard a word from them since and still have their trap. Once they have your money they tend to disappear. I had a similar experience with them approx 10 years ago.. Improvements: Follow through with what they say they're going to do. Follow up at the end to see if the customer is satisfied. Don't try to wiggle around the warranty. Basically be more professional and honest.. more

Got rid of my raccoon problem quickly, redid insulation well. Raccoons came back. thay came to chase it out, removed attic vent to check. Was told on a thursday they would be back on monday to recheck. Never came back, never replaced vent, will not return my calls. attempting to get ahold of them to fix this for last month. Don't count on them to follow through with guarentee they make. Look them up on the BBB website, I'm not alone. more

Brad and his team are doing a wonderful job for us. We have a mouse/rat infestation like you wouldn't believe and Critter Ridder is tackling the problem head on. I am so grateful to them for their expertise and professionalism!!! more

We had a rental condo and one side was infested and the other was seeing cockroaches from the first side. Critter Ridder gave us a plan of attach and then they executed it. Our long-time renters on the uninfested side are now happy and the new renters say they have not see a roach in many weeks. We are glad we called this firm to get the bugs out.
