I've used Computer Bay twice and both times were great. Call around for quotes and I guarantee you will not find a better price anywhere. Very knowledgeable staff and you won't get ripped off. My LED screen on my laptop was cracked and luckily for me that was all that needed fixing. Joy was great about getting me the part overnighted so I wouldn't be without my laptop for the weekend. I got my fixed laptop back on Friday...Computer Bay are the only people I call when I need something. more

For the quality of service, best value around. 7/3/2011

I am a fairly new customer to Computer Bay, but do not plan to take my business anywhere else in the future. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful, which made it easy to resolve my issue in a timely manner. I shopped around a few places and also found them to be the cheapest around. If you are looking for computer work, i would highly recommend them. more

Great service! 11/10/2009

Had a Windows XP problem with updates and internet explorer troubles too. They helped a heap! They fixed it for a fair rate & told me how to avoid troubles like this in the future. No problems on my notebook since. Bought an external hard drive for data backups at a good price too. My experience with this company has always been good. Satisfied Customer 8/6/2009

The first time I visited ,service was a little longer and payment on my side from the corporation was slow too, but after this the service was quick and the payments were too. Someone from Best Buy recommended them to me. I would like to see them closer to the Merrillville-Porter-Gary area for easier access, but in the meantime, I will continue to turn in travel fees. Pros: Prices are cheaper than Geek Squad Cons: Further Out than I would like to drive more

Repeat Customer 12/10/2008

I have been a customer for 20 years since they were on HWY 30. I keep coming back because they have good service. Service is very hard to find in this area. They setup my network in our office. Visit their store, everything is new and top quality. I also like the custom systems that I cannot get from Dell and I have tried. I stopped buying Dell and went to see Eric at Computer Bay. Fake products, Horrible Service 9/11/2008

My recent experience with this store is horrible. I don't want to tell the whole long story. I just give my suggestion based on my experience. The prices of the product and serice charge are unreseaonable high. They are selling products without warranty which they got from ebay or fleamarket. They got them at a cheap price, then try to sell you at retail price. Of course every business should make money. However you should make money in a honest manner. But they don't. So just stay away from them. These guys just try to sell inferior electronic products at high price. Don't be fooled by them. GO directly to dell/HP or other major electronic retail store, you will get much better price and service. more
