I had my hair extension back in June. The stylist was very knowledgable, but the hair that they claimed was ""all natural"", WAS NOT. IT WAS A MIXTURE OF BOTH! I was satisfied of how my hair turned out, but unfortunately, when I used my curling iron, i can see synthetic hair melting on the roller...if any of you get hair extension, you know we are not supposed to use the curling iron on the bond, which I did not...but wow, for that much money and I had to take it out a month later. After I shower and not style my hair, my husband would tell me how UGLY the hair was. I called to complain to them but I haven't heard anything from them, so I'm reviewing this because I don't want another victim spending that much money and regret it. I WAS OVERSEAS AT THE TIME AND NEVER CROSSED MY MIND IN GETTING MY MONEY BACK OR ANYTHING, BUT I'M JUST DISAPPOINTED IN THE SALON THAT EVENTHOUGH THEY'RE AT FAULT...THEY STILL WON'T ADMIT IT! GIVE ME A BREAK, I'M NOT GOING TO BRING BACK THE USELESS EXTENSIONS BACK TO SHOW THEM NOR BRING BRING BACK MY CURLING IRON AS PROOF! I SPENT MY MONEY THERE, AND I DIDN'T GET MY MONEY WORTH SO OF COURSE I'M MAD OVER $1000 , THAT'S THE TRUTH! I'M VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HOW U GUYS HANDLED THIS SITUATION. THE FUNNY THING WAS THAT HAIR EXTENSION AT THE COUNTRY I VISITED ONLY COST $100 AND THEY LAUGHED AT THE $1000+ I SPENT ON MINE. RIDICULOUS! THE SALON NEVER CALLED ME BACK TO EVEN SAY THAT IF ONLY I HAD PROOF OR SOME SORT THEY MIGHT ABLE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I went in on a Saturday night, and they were very pleasant. The stylists there are very knowledgable about hair care, which was impressive to me. My stylist did a great job washing and then detangling my hair, and I honestly hadn't seen my hair look and feel that good in years. The stylists really know what they are doing, and I was impressed. I am definitely going back. more

I went in to the Kathy Adams Salon on a whim one day to see if I could talk with a stylist about a change. I was HIGHLY satisfied by what I experienced, and booked an appointment later in the week to get a style change. My stylist went over everything in detail, witch eased any fears I had with letting someone new touch my hair. She informed me that every stylist at KAS is educated quarterly on new and upcomig style trends. She also told me that in her salon, they actually have a stlyist who works directly for Redken. Since KAS is a solon that only uses Redken, this must help immensly! Needless to say- my hair looked better than it has in years! I look 10 years younger! I will pre- book with KAS for years to come. May I add that my stylist was at the apprentice level, and her prices were very affordable. She proved that new and upcoming stylists have talent too!! Pros: convienient, affordable more

Yes, each stylist has their own flare but because the salon is well organized with computerized history cards and the consultations are thorough I always get great results. I will have other stylist while I am there come up to me to talk or to ask me if I need anything. Usually at other salons the only one that may take interest in you is the stylist your with. Also, the atmosphere of the salon is relaxed even when it is busy. I see their work in almost every hair magazine I pick up. Like I said it is a great hair salon. However I found this place on citisearch which happens to be located in a mall but very impressive and not cheap at all. I wanted a different cut and look.
