Classy Wigs

I have been going to Kathy Adams Salon for years now and have had he opportunity to use several of their stylists. Each and every one of them have their own individual style as well as talents. I never feel uncomfortable when trying someone new in the salon, because I have never had a bad experience. The salon manager is wonderful and always calls me by name. I am always welcomed with a soft drink and recently discovered they do a paraffin wax dip while my color sat. The mall of georgia is always cold, so they even have a warmer for their towels to help relax their clients even more. I think this salon is doing everything right and will continue to be successful as long as they pay as much attention to small details that mean SO MUCH! You guys are AWESOME! Thanks for always making my worries and stress dissappear at the door. Pros: Excellent customer service! more

I decided to try this salon after reading the wonderful reviews it had received. My stylist, a fairly new employee, was very nice but seemed very inexperienced. I had to wait about 15 minutes after my appointment time before he got started. Even though I was getting a color treatment he did not give me the opportunity to change into a colorsafe gown. Though we had a thorough consultation, the stylist proceeded to give me a very poor haircut and color unlike what we discussed. I went home to find my cut was uneven (I even had to have him fix a piece while I was at the register paying). My hair was suddenly dry, brittle, and in really bad shape. When I went back a couple of days later to complain they were great. They got me in that day to try to fix what the original stylist had done. 'Lee' was able to fix the color as well as give me a treatment to help with the dryness and brittleness. She evened up the cut as best she could and tried several styling techniques before I left. Though her advice was to just let it grow, she was at least able to make it tolerable while it does that. Thanks to her I do not feel like I look as bad, but I will never use the original stylist again, nor will I ever book an appointment with a 'newbie.' more

I was very excited to go to Kathy Adams because of all the great reviews, but a bit disappionted after my trip. I am not saying that the service was bad. It was just OK. Nothing spectacular. My experience was an average one. There are many more salons I'd rather go to before I choose this one. more

The whole staff is well educated in color and up to date and traditional styles.They have 4 levels of stylist to fit your needs as well as your budget. You can make an apt. or just walk in Mon. through Sun.. You will find their work in all the top hair style magazines. So pick your style and stop on by and you won't be disappointed! more

I was referred to the salon from a friend who has been there mutiple times and has seen a few different stylists. I was booked with Cindy and told her I really had no idea what i wanted, she did such a thorough consultation with me, and helped me figure out what was going to be best for me. I left there feeling like a whole new person! I've never had people stop me for my hair before and now it's like a regular occurance!! Thank you CIndy , you're awesome!!!!!!! more

The worst cut I have ever had - cried all the way home and am still crying. Went and bought visors, hats, and am considering a wig. I am pretty good at salvaging a not-so-good cut, but this one is beyond me. I wanted a blunt-cut below chin length swinging bobbed style, and got layers chopped into it everywhere that do not blend or lay evenly. Two-inch layers in a circle around the crown. I now have what looks like a short hairstyle on the top and a mid-length hairstyle on the bottom, with any thickness cut out of the middle so the shape is horrible. Not unlike a medieval Greek Corinthian helmet - minus the noseplate, high on top and flat on the sides. Very noisy place, so when you talk to the stylist during consultation I don't think they can hear. Cons: Extremely noisy and crowded, no room in waiting area more
