Ciao Trattoria is located in a beautiful building and the atmosphere is pleasant enough. Service began with promising attentiveness, and we were served some delicious bread. After we ordered, though, it all went downhill. I had a rigatoni dish with sauteed vegetables, olive oil and garlic. Its predominant flavor was salt - lots of it. The pasta was way beyond al dente: it was slightly hard and chewy. My wife's penne was also undercooked. Service to this point was adequate, though they had to be prompted to refill our sodas. After dinner, our waiter came by with a dessert tray. Indecisive, we asked him to come back in a couple minutes. But, 45 minutes later, he had never come back. The busboy did, however, take away our soda glasses without offering a refill. We finally asked for our check. Never again.
Pros: valet parking
Cons: lousy food, poor service
