Los Angeles has the worst Chinese food in America. PERIOD. You must understand this statement and adjust your expectations accordingly. With that being said, China Wok is one of the better places to eat. Delivery time is the standard 1 hour wait time. I say "standard" because most chinese delivery places are slow. The food is okay. Not great. Their seafood items can be a little "suspect" at times so I wouldn't order those. Their combination lo mein is pretty tasty and is one of my favorite items. Their beef items are pretty good as well. Their english isn't very good, so if you have problems with your order or if you need to assist the driver to get to your building, there will be some communication problems. more

I spent over $40 for dinner for my family, and had to throw out most of the food because the beef was spoiled. The sauce had a very rotten smell, and I lost my appetite the moment I opened the take-out container. more

Do not order delivery from this place! The food smells rotten, and the food is over-priced. Save your money and go to another chinese restaurant for cleaner food preparation. more

Service is horrible, they can not even speak english and get upset with you because you are trying to explain. Not friendly at all. Like they were upset I ordered. more

Terrible food. The worst miso soup I've ever had, the worst sushi I've ever had - it tastes like it's gone bad. The "chicken" crispy wonton has no relation to chicken whatsoever. more

The food was good, they arrived in a timely manner.I just asked for extra sauce on the special instructions box but no sauce came. Overall I would order from here again. more

I used to give this place 5 stars PLUS, but attention to detail has slipped on last 5 orders. I know they read special instruction since they ALWAYS get change of soup to Hot & Sour CORRECT, but when asked to make spicy on ITEM 1, Item 1 was not spicy but Item 2 was spicier than normal. Ordered Chow Fun, got Chow Mein... Ordered Pork, got Beef.. Grubhub did refund and issued gift card to solve, but point is CHINA WOK is not paying attention. THEIR FOOD IS AWESOME, just would like to get what I ordered, how I ordered it (special instructions), and if they can't do something, CALL ME, not send out something different. BUT DO TRY THIS PLACE ANYWAY, just don't put in special request until you know how good their food is... THEY TAKE THE RISK IF YOU DARE, hopefully they will start being more diligent :o) more
