I recently stayed there during the winter months where the heating was not working correctly for more than half the time I was there. In fact, there was ice on my windows inside the apartment. Considering that Chicago is very cold for 3/4 of the year, one should be leery about choosing Canterbury if they are not staying during the late spring and summer. Chicago winds at 10 degrees Fahrenheit makes a pretty cold apartment while trying to gather explain to maintenance department over and over again how the radiator does not work properly.
Pros: Close to the Loop
Cons: Heating is fickle, loud neighborhood on the street of many bars
