Destiny's Bride

I went into this boutique with my sister about a month ago. When we first walked into the shop we were greeted and got a first good impression of the place. Once we were inside our assistant gave us a quick tour of the place and then she started to pull dresses. Within 5 minutes she was done pulling dresses and was asking which dresses we wanted to eliminate. It came down to 3. While she helped my sister put on her first dress, I couldn't help but notice another assistant helping another bridal party in front of us. The service and treatment they were receiving was far different than the one we were getting. The assistant seemed to be very attentive and interested in making the brides appointment great. This was totally the opposite of what I was noticing with our assistant Rose. When my sister came out in the first dress, the dress was not properly fitted, it was dirty, and beat up. It was noticeable that it had been tried on multiple times and maybe should not have been used as a sample dress but more so a cleaning rag. I was very disappointed that we had come this far for dirty run down dresses in the middle of Scottsdale. I was expecting a lot more than this. In about less than 15 minutes my sister had tried on all 3 dresses and the assistant was done with her appointment while the other bride across from us was just trying on her second dress. This was my sister's first time trying on wedding dresses and the experience was horrible at this place. I would not recommend anybody wasting their time here. Luckily, we went to David's Bridal Collection shop in Westgate and the experience there was far superior than this one. Our assistant, Flor went above and beyond trying to make the appointment the best experience we had ever had. The staff was friendly and accomodating to our every need. I am glad there are other bridal shops that treat their customers with the outmost respect and attention they deserve. more

At first I was hesitant to go to a bridal shop in Scottsdale because I had heard horrible reviews of some other stores. However, Destiny's Bride and Linda (store manager) were wonderful! I tried on a number of dresses and found one I liked best. However, I was torn between this dress and one I had tried on at another store. We actually showed Linda the picture of the dress at the other store and after looking at it she was like...oh, that's the dress for you! I was so surprised...I never would have thought someone working in the bridal industry would actually recommend me to another store and lose the sale. I was so incredibly appreciative! She helped me make my decision in a split second and I was so grateful (not to mention she saved me $1000). I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Destiny's Bride! I definitely recommend it! Pros: Wonderful atmosphere and service! Cons: Can't think of any! more

We arrived as the last appointment on a Saturday. You'd think after a day of handling brides, girls, mothers and ten thousand heavy dresses the ladies at Destiny would be tired and cranky and barely in the mood to help me try on dresses. But that was not what we experienced...it was a purely magical, delightful experience. Our helper was Linda and after she got the lowdown on my preferences, wedding plans and ideas, she helped us pick out some great dresses. She was real, honest, sweet and very helpful. I never felt rushed or not listened to. When I wanted to add a veil to a look in the mirror to get the full effect, she didn't just plop a combed veil in my head and walk away. She pinned up my hair how I had envisioned it and carefully placed the veil on my head. \r The other ladies there were great too and we left feeling just wonderful and pampered and special. \r PLEASE don't go to those disgusting cheap bridal shops where they treat you like cattle. You don't deserve that when you are just trying to find the perfect everything for your special day. Go to Destiny Bridal! more

In no way is there anyone in the state that has anything on Destiny's Bride! They have an incredible store, wonderful, friendly & knowledgable staff & the best selections you will ever see! I see that some may have not been able to feel like these people are trying very hard but trust me, that is rare for them. They want to cater to ANYONE in the store Large purchase or teeeny tiny! They understand it is all about the ""expirience""!!!\r \r Unless this staff reccomends you to try another store for something you are looking for, beware. They know all the good people out there in the wedding world! If you find yourself waiting a little longer than you would like once you get there, cut them a break, I am sure it is only because they are pretty busy! I was looking for gloves to go with my dress and thought they would have a variety selection. I was wrong, not only was the lady too busy to help me she did not even show me any examples of gloves! This might have been a minimal sale for them, but those ""small"" accessories are just as important to me for my wedding day. I went to this store with an appointment with Jennifer, and she was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable! I am petite and she took her time to make sure the dresses I tried were pinned so that I could really grasp what they would look like in my size. The attitude of the employees is friendly and not snobby at all, and there were no ""secrets"" like most other bridal stores who won't tell you the designer or style of the dress until you buy it. There was no pressure to buy, and the selection of gowns is absolutely beautiful. I loved almost every dress I tried on, but unfortunately I loved the few that were out of my budget the most and did not end up buying from here. I think there is a good chance of finding a dream dress here for most ladies, and I'd highly recommend checking it out! I walked into the store and was greeted but that was it for over 25 minutes. I did not see anyone around in the store to help me so I ended up leaving and moving on. Absolutely agree with previous reviews, you will not find better service in the valley. I also had Sara helping me and I cannot over-emphasize how professional and helpful she is, nothing was too much trouble. I went to a lot of stores before buying my dress at Destiny's Bride so let me save you the trouble and aggravation of going elsewhere-this place is the best! This was the first place I went when shopping for my dress and it was such a fantastic experience. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Don't have any apprehension that people will be looking down their noses at you because this is NOT that kind of a place. They carry amazing designers and offer all the accessories to go with your gown. I worked with Sara who was completely attentive and helpful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. I love this store!!! Not only did I buy one dress - but I bought a second! (I called off the first wedding years ago) The trunk shows are fun - they make it all about you! and who doesn't love that! AND you can go there as much as you want to ""play"" until your wedding ~ even more fun! Pros: Not snobby - friendly and willing to help! Cons: A bit pricy - but it is sooo worth it! more

Very helpful! Knowledgeable staff. I went to them with a ""bridesmaid dress"" emergency from another store in the valley. They were very comforting and had suggestions and solutions. I had 5 bridesmaid dresses (not the one I had originally chosen) and they have been altered to look like what I originally wanted. I should have come here first so learn from my mistake!!!!!
