Stopped in today after work, first time at Genie Car Wash. Have to say, they were fast and had high standards. My truck looks great, it was fast, and the priceless part, fast, yet well done. more

So my husband and I broke down and bought the dreaded ?Minivan?. Our oldest is 6 now and she plays soccer. It was time to upgrade to a new means of transport, as my Miata convertible wasn?t going to allow me to transport a bunch of kids. We opted on a brand new Sienna minivan. Last weekend on the way back from soccer practice my worst fears came to be. It was our week to bring one of Tiff?s friends home, and of course she vomited all over the back seat and floor. So much for my new car smell... We left the windows down all day Sunday and hoped for the best. Well what we got was, well, not much of a change. We took it into Gene Car Wash and I asked if they could do anything. The gentlemen told me it would take a while, but was sure he could get it out. Well an hour and a half the smell was gone, and my van was back to the way it was a few days ago! Thanks so much for returning my life to normal; no one should have live with that smell every time they drive! Customer forever! more

Went there the other day, I have to say, I am impressed. Nice people, car got cleaned, everything went smooth. And they have a slat water fish tank! Great job! more

Is there a car wash in town that doesn't have people who are like vultures as soon as you step out of your car? For those of us that want a wash, yes just an absolute basic wash, it is almost harrassment to go to Genie Car Wash. I pulled up today and no less that 3 people were at my door. One guy asked 5 different ways what wash I wanted, one guy wanted my windshield, and who knows about the other guy. Then they surcharged me saying my C R V was over-sized - uh huh it's as big as a suburban. more

My husband and I are in the banking world. We often entertain clients and pick them up so our 2 new Volvos are are immaculate. We have no children so it is easy for us to use a car wash and keep them clean...but we are sorry to say we are never going to be able to use the Genie car wash again. We will probably pay more to have a detailer come to our business as we are tired of being intimidated by the window repair man that will not take ""no thak you"" for an answer. As a result of getting a car wash here I had to get a $130 wheel alignment. After proof of repairs, they would not even give me a free car wash. That would have cost them only a few pennies for soap and water. Pros: They wash your car for you Cons: If they damage your car, they won't take responsibility more

It is no longer owned by Danny's but is now known as GENIE CARWASH, which has 2 locations in Arizona, and several others in California, (as of July, 21 2007) Before, this location was a place where customers were harassed left and right, but now, NO MEANS NO. They offer the same services as Danny's (and more!) and the majority of there products and services are cheaper. Some notable things that are cheaper are there annual cards (knows as ""family cards"" at danny's, its unlimited washes for 1 year) by almost $100!!! I highly recommend this place over any of the nearby Danny's locations. You just cant beat the small business attention they give to each and every individual customer. Was visiting from San Francisco this weekend and pulled into the station located on Shea near Scottsdale Rd to get gas. The place was a covert training field for wanna be used car salesmen. As soon as I got out of the car one employee came over to ask ""have you ever thought about tinting your windows"", 2 minutes later another guy came over to sell a ""detailing"" and even gave me a competed order form when I said no, then the window repair guy checked out my vehicle (looked disapointed that he couldn't find any imperfections), close behind him was the the oil change teamr, and finaly another window tinter stopped by. Mind you, this is all within 5 minutes of pulling in. more

My 16 year old took my car to get a regular wash. when arriviing as normal she was asked about a detail, mats washed etc., She declined advising it was her mother's car and credit card. She waited 90 mintues for the car to be finished from the regular wash. When she got in the car everything was damp. They detailed it, not well, but detailed. She had signed the credit card slip, not paying close attention to the price, she was not given any paperwork. I have a new chevy and went to get my first oil change at Danny's. The truck has very low miles since it is a new truck. I find a charge for $15 for an upgraded oil filter. I figured it was maybe just my truck. In addition, a $10 extra charge for extra oil. Ok, the oil thing was posted that 5 quarts is included with the change and additional after that. I went to the local Checker and priced my oil filter which came out to 4.49, actually one of the cheaper filters there. I went back and question the manager about the extra oil filter charge and he passed it onto another manager that said he don't make the prices, the ""guys upstairs make the prices"". Well guys upstairs, hereiswhat happenswhen your managers are rude and ""not able to reverse charges because of the guys upstairs"".
