So I'd been reading reviews raving about this joint for a while now. I tried, as some other reviewers have stated, to get into the place, but it always seemed to be closed. But when I found myself in the area the first thing that came to mind was I wonder if ""The Bucket"" was open? After a quick call it was confirmed to be, so I stopped in. Believe it or not, it seems that ambiguous hours are part of the charm. They even have a sign inside pointing fun at this fact. Anyway, the reason one comes to a burger joint is for the burgers and I decided to dive in head first with their signature ""Cardiac Burger"". At $8, it comes loaded with two Burger Patties, Mayonnaise, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Grilled Onion, Mushrooms, Bacon, Ham, and your choice of Cheese. I opted for cheddar and added an order of ""Bucket Fries,"" round cut potatoes described as something ""Between a chip and a fry."" The service on the patio was disinterested at best, and when it came to paying I gave up on waiting and went inside to pay at the counter. But again, you don't go to a burger joint for the service, you go for the burger. So how was it? ....OK. Really just OK. I honestly don't get the ham on the burger thing, so I ate that separate. Actually, it must have been beyond OK, or I was just hungry, because I found little pieces of ground up white plastic in the meat early in my meal and still managed to eat 75% of the burger. (How bad could a little plastic be for you?) It was a mountain of a burger, the patties were large, the bun so-so, and the fixin's unremarkable. And maybe it was a bad day for the french fryer, but the ""Bucket Fries"" were terrible, I would guess the result of the oil not being hot enough. It was shame, because they looked like they could have been quite good had they been fried and not parboiled. Overall, this place was a disappointment. Word has it they are in the midst of changing ownership once again. I hope they can help restore it's reputation to what it once was.\r
