Two redneck boors were sitting 4 stools apart (this is not a shaggy dog story). One came in after I did. They were having a loud conversation right across me, and when I suggested that they sit together, one asked, ""Are we annoying you."" I said, ""Yes, I'm trying to listen to the TV, and you're rather loud in any event."" Well, said Redneck #1, ""Tough"". Redneck #2, asked, ""Where are you from?"". ""Why does it matter?"" ""Because you are an a-hole, and we don't like a-holes around here.""
Well, OK, maybe you won't have the misfortune, but the kicker is that the barmaid (a real athletic, super-tanned lady) began agreeing with them. Also, the reader-board advertised Sierra Nevada, but they didn't have any. Also, the second she poured me a Manny's, she wanted the $4.50, and even though it was after 4:30 (Happy Hour).
In summary, the clientele are rude boors; the staff is less than competent and are not respectful of their clients. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to report on the food, but there are many superior places around; don't waste your time here. For instance, try Scott's in Shoreline/Edmonds. A real class act that we frequent often.
