Food was just ok, nothing out of common, but expensive. Our waiter was impertinent, and we felt judged because we didn't order an appetizer, and wanted to go straight to the main course. I saw other waiters in the restaurant being nice and courteous, but this guy ( superior attitude, dark blond hair, goatee) was treating us like he was doing us a favor. We had the duck a l'orange and the scalops, and it took them 45 minutes to bring the food over. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled for two times. We were not sure what to choose for desert and when my husband asked the waiter what he recommended, he answered: I don't know, it depends on what you want. Another waiter, or busboy stood next to our table for as long as we were there, ""observing "" the room, and I noticed him listening to our conversation for several times.
All in all, not a friendly, welcome atmosphere, a pompous place, rigid. And again, the food lacked that ""wow!"", special factor that you would expect to come with a pretentious, expensive meal. It was just common flavor in very small portions with some stuff smeared on the plate to give you the feeling that it is fancy and refined, in an attempt of copying the elegant presentation of food in famous restaurants.
But mostly we were upset with the bad service. Hire some nice, courteous waiters who are capable to make your customers feel welcome and not ruin their appetite.
Will never go back!
