Horrible staff!!! Unbelievable that people like these witches can run a business in the service industry. Sue absolutely ruined my hair. Her and the rest of the staff there are catty and definitely cannot be called professionals in the industry. A shame for the Camillus area, as I have lived there for over 40 years. This is one business that has GOT to go. Plenty of other worthwhile hair salons in town. I 150% do NOT recommend utilizing this ""company's"" services. more

I discovered Best & Co more than seven years ago when I relocated to Syracuse. Having lived in large cities like Boston and New York for most of my adult life, I was really worried about finding the right hair salon. Best & Co did not disappoint and I have been getting my hair done at this establishment ever since. I have always been treated with total respect and have been completely satisfied with my color and cuts. Best & Co is a keeper…. a great place that offers many excellent products and services. more

RUDE, Unprofessional people work there. I had a very bad experience.It doesn't take much to be polite and smile but obviously the people that work there find it extremely difficult. I don't usually write reviews but had to for this Terrible salon. more

My experience there was so unnerving that it brought me to writing this, my first review ever.\r \r It began when I walked in the door with my little, 19 year old sister, who was there to have her hair done for her senior dance, something simple but pretty.\r \r The woman with sort blond hair at the counter was exceptionally rude, with an air of ...I'm not sure what to call it...entitlement or something of that nature. She was unprofessional and unwelcoming to say the least.\r \r Our stylist, the ""master' stylist, seemed to be nice at first however, after taking a mere 15-20 minutes to curl my sister's hair, literally that was all that was done to it (she came in with it already washed and straightened) and pinning back her bangs with two bobby pins, she claimed that we owed the salon $75.00 because she considered it to be an ""up-do"".\r \r I can assure you there was nothing ""up"" about that ""do"" and she did a pretty bad job at that.\r \r I do not own a business yet however, I'm relatively sure ripping off a 19 year old kid and doing it with such audacity and attitude is not only unbecoming, it is a sure way to in fact, lose your business - which is exactly what they have done. \r \r Needless to say, I will NEVER return to that salon, and I can assure you neither my family nor friends will either. \r \r I must also say that this review could not be published without rating it and there was not an option fo ""no/negative stars"", which would have been my response... more

They have a friendly receptionist who is extremely helpful, the staff seems to be very educated,the salon is clean, the exposed wood and brick makes for a very cool enviornment, their prices are very reasonable, and their work is very consistant. Well, I go in and already Staci the receptionist was a monster.. drove 40 miles for that treatment.. the day before talked to her about booking me in and she was real rude and snotty with me so I said something to her and she then got loud with me.. she still told me to come in and why I did I don't know.. She had 7 colors on her head, I think the dye jobs got in her brain.. Anyway.... The owner walked up to me and said I cant be seen because I was rude to the receptionist that does not even do anything besides chase people away from there by the reviews I see ahead of mine.. Drove all that way and Staci knew I was taking a cab.. they just wanted to be MONSTERS! I paid $75 for nothing in a cab!! They did not show me any remorse, she was a cold hearted snake! I hear she is a reborn christian but with that attitude she is the DEVIL! I should have known better but heard it was a good place for color.. Please if you like respect and friendly than this place is not for you! They want contracts for bridal parties and all that.. money hungry monsters they are.. they make you feel like NOTHING! Went for a 1 hour facial with Nina and it was wonderful! It wasn't just my face, but included my arms and some relaxing massage as well. She seemed very knowledgeable. Well worth the price and I will try to go back again. She didn't push any products and only suggested one thing when I asked. She recommended the daily O2 optimizing creme for day and/or night, and I really like it. more

A friend told me about this spa so I thought I would give it a try. First of all, the hrs were horrible to accomidate an appointment. The the parking was unbelievable no where to park. I noticed while I was suppost to be getting my hair colored and cut that the girls that work there also like to color and cut and style their hair or each others while they r working. Where is management? Whos is in charge? This place was like a play yard for children without supervision. I was so shocked by what a know it all my stylist thought she was that I had to go back to my original salon to get what I really wanted. To this company they cater to themselves and they have attitute that really needs to be checked at the door. I have a thought how put the girls who don't have clients clean, dust, vaccum, sweep or maybe not be there if they don't wanna work. This place gave me a whole new attitute about keeping your stylist you have and staying true to them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. RUN!! I went to the salon to get a french manicure and for all the money I spent the nail polishh was old. I had to go elsewhere to get a professional job done. The manicuist was rude, snotty and clearly in a rush to hang out withh her friends or just go home. She seemed so bored and unhappy with her job that my nail job suffered due to her lack of effert in doing her job. Also I see a lot of comments about a stylist named Stacey but wonder why they are not including her on the site. Why not include someone that works as part of your company and I I also noticed that company lost the Channel 5 account to another spa and now I know why. Over all experience the place is crappy and over priced. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I did have a gift certificate but now I just shot it away because I do not ever plan on going back. Please save your money and go elsewhere. At least go to a compnay that really cares about their clients, their work, and how their attitude effects everyone!! Cons: parking, rude staff and horrible work ethics more

I have been going to Best & Company for about a year and I receive professional, courteous and skilled expertise from my stylist, Stacey H. She has used her color expertise to find the perfect formula for my hair and I can be confident that it will be the same color each time I have it done. I also have a very complicated, precision cut which she manages with confidence and expertise. Her pedicures are rejuvenating and relaxing and she is a very personable individual which makes my time spent at Best & Co. relaxing and enjoyable. I had been struggling with extreme muscle knots in my neck and shoulders for a very long time. The condition was extremely painful. I had been referred to and concluded several sessions of physical therapy with three different physical therapists over a three year period. Nothing helped. Then a friend told me about Meghan at Best and Co. and recommended her deep-tissue massages. I would have tried anything at that point and made my first appointment. It was the best move I have made in a long, long time. It did take a while of weekly one-half hour appointments but Meghan's expertise and skill prevailed! She performs miracles with her hands and I have been pain free for over 6 months! My insurance company will probably think I kicked the bucket when they don't get physical therapy bills for me this year! I went here for just an updo. The stylist, her name was Brandy, noticed that I needed my color fixed. She fixed it in record timing and it looked great. The price was great too. After my color I got an updo done and it was so nice. All my friends complemented me. Pros: Service was great. The suggestions from the stylists are awesome. more

I have recently gone to best and co. and was very happy with my experience. I had gotten a gift certificate and was a little concerned at first because of some of the reviews I had seen on this sight. I got my hair done by Stacey and thought she was very knowledgable and professional. My hair looked great! and felt great too. Stacey also helped me find out why my hair was so dry and unruly and assisted me with product that has in turn made styling my hair and the over all condition of my hair look and feel great. I found everyone to be very nice and the receptionist to be very helpful and exceptioanlly charming. I have learned that though these sights are helpful, the real experience at Best and co. is worth overlooking a few negative reviews and jumping right in !!! IT IS TOTALLY WORTH THE VISIT!!!!! I absolutely love Best and Company's massage therapist Meaghan...she is awesome and has ""magic fingers"". I am a very busy former career woman, who is now staying home with her recently adopted 2 year old little girl from China and her twin fifteen year old boys, so stress is an everyday occurrence with me. Meaghan totally took me away today and I felt so good when I left, that I booked another appointment before leaving and I think I am going to make this a weekly experience. I would recommend her highly and everyone there was very friendly, helpful and cooperative. I am also planning to try a pedicure on Meaghan's recommendation very soon..... An awesome experience!!!!! I went to this day spa expecting a wonderful day, but insstead got people who were confused about who was doing what 1st. I think they should have aleast known what procedure to start off with ,but I found that they seemed lost. My hair stylist did not even know what colors to mix together and seemed to have to ask a lot of the girls for help. I don't think that she was that experience in doing hair yet. I am so glad I went before I decided to book my bridal party because the whole place seemed like it was disorganized. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially anyone that wants a bridal party or relaxing day. The parking is horrible and the staff is incrediablly rude. Just want to tell you about Best and Company, fine people and great service. But what I am writing about is the Raindrop technique massage. It about a hour of pure bliss. Consists of oils, heat and massage to make you feel wonderful from your head to your toes.. Best and Company has one of the Best massage therapist around, Her name is Meagan,she is the most caring person , knows her field and has magic fingers. I know you will not be disappointed! I always have a good experience at the Best&Company salon. I get my hair done with Stacey, and not only does she give me a great cut, but she also chooses the right shade of color and highlights to compliment my face. I know I'll be pleased with what she does, and that's exciting!\r I also have been getting micro-derm done with Nina, and my skin is much smoother and younger looking. She listens to my concerns and does a great job!\r I highly recommend both Best & Company professionals.\r more

I have been going to best and co. for years and when a friend told me she saw some negative reviews I felt it was my duty to speak out. They have gone through some changes over the past couple of years but I feel they are all for the best. I love the open and freindly environment . I love the fact that I can feel comfortable with the entire staff. Due to my unusual work schedual I can't always fit into my stylists schedual, but she goes out of her way to make sure that another stylist can accomadate me and is very certain they know my formula and cut. I also feel that if anything were not to my satisfaction the entire staff would go out of their way to help fix any problem. I can't imagine getting that anywhere else!!
