My experience with Riverview was perfect. I bought the first 2011 Tc on their lot. The salesman briefly but fully explained Scion's ""Pure Pricing"" and showed me the exact numbers for the car. I was off to financing and out the door in less than 2 hours. Just what I wanted, how I wanted it. more

Skip in the Service Dept. of Riverview Toyota, Mesa AZ has caused me to say ""Something Good happened today!"" My rocker panel on my Corolla was hanging down on both sides of my car, following driving into a ditch and being towed out.\r They tied up one side with wire and had the plug necessary to get the other side done and told me to go on home, there was no charge. Now where are you going to find a place like that! Free popcorn and TV while I waited, too. Yes, life was good today. more

Made an appointment to meet with their internet sales guy after finding an FJ Cruiser in the Trail Teams edition that I wanted. When I got it together to get to the dealership that day, he was in training, so Kenny ended up helping me out with this transaction.\r \r Kenny was great. If you're going to go buy a car from someone, really go see Kenny. Low pressure, absolutely NO BS, and he had some pretty great stories. He was cool about the fact that I wanted to test drive three different vehicles, see what I liked, see what I didn't like.\r \r Ended up coming back in a couple weeks later to get the deal done. Both FJ's I wanted were still there, so I test drove them both with my mother in tow. It was quite the scene to watch these guys try to work my mom. Just a hint, my mom is unworkable. I've been her kid for 35 years, and I am the king of working angles, stringing BS and working a game. She knows it all, and you can't play her.\r \r Got the FJ I wanted. Waiting on the registration in the mail, but they have to the 21st to get that done. Very happy with Riverview. If I ever buy another Toyota, and I am still in Arizona, I will be going back to see Kenny. more

My wife and I worked with Bruce Smith at River View Toyota in April. We bought a new toyota Camry LE. My wife had a certin color she liked and when we walked in the show room there was the car right there. Bruce took a lot of time showing and explaning the new fetures of the 2012 Camry he had it pulled from the show room floor for us to test drive relizing we had only came to look. We loved the car and told bruce to work numbers. They showed us numbers the first time out that where better than the other dealers we had been two showed us and we did not fell presured to buy at all. Bruce allowed us to talk about it alone and we decided to buy the car. The whole experiance was nice and the fince person Mike Powell put the papper work together and we where on our way in about 2 hours from the time we whent in. It was nice to meet a salesman who would give us space to talk and willing to go the extra mile. Most places would say drive a car on the lot they are all the same but Bruce new we liked the one in the showroom and had it pulled ou for the test drive. I would defently go back to this dealer again with out even a thought. more

We bought a Prius there earlier this year and were pleased with the lack of typical salesman gimmicks and manipulations. We did use the USAA program to purchase the car. I have returned several times to have the car's maintenance done and have been pleased with the waiting accommodations and attentive staff. (they have freshly baked cookies in the afternoon!)\r \r I brought my car in today with a concern about a body part that had popped out and wasn't flush after a pot-hole encounter. Chris, my service advisor took a look at it, popped it back in and charged me nothing. He could of taken the vehicle to the back, made something more of it and charged me but he didn't. I keep waiting to find something I don't like about this dealership but just haven't been able to do so. So far so good! more

I've been coming here the better part of the last 5 years with my Prius and have no complaints. I've used various service people over the years and all have been very courteous and fairly knowledgeable. I don't have the sense that they're trying to get me to spend any extra money that I don't have to (or, at least, no more than any other service place I've been to). One time a service rep recommended a whole bunch of work but told me there was no need to get it done immediately; I waited and didn't have any problems. So, as far as I can tell, they're honest. One time they fixed a tire for free (even though I get my tires at Discount). This place is on my way to work, which is convenient, and there are a few places to eat (Chik-fil-a etc.) within walking distance if you're facing a wait. The facilities are nice enough if you have to stay a while; though the Gilbert (Big Two) and Avondale locations are nicer, there's nothing wrong with this one. more

Honestly, I've never been much of a fan of car dealerships and pushy ""say what they think you want to hear"" car salesmen who work for commission. But I am a proud owner of my second Toyota, both Rav 4s so I had to put up with them. I bought my first Rav in 2001 from the Frank Lloyd Wright dealership (ugh- horrible experience with the manager on duty at the time of my first oil change and vowed never to return) and second from Scott Toyota on McDowell.\r \r I hate that Scott Toyota moved miles away, from McDowell to Mesa without my knowledge until I called to make an appointment for an oil change. Now I have to drive 16 miles roundtrip instead of six, but I can't change that so I deal with it. I used to have them shuttle me home while I waited, but now I have to sit and wait. FYI- There's a large outdoor mall within walking distance across the street, good for shopping and browsing to kill time.\r \r I like that Riverview Toyota supplies a TV, bottled water, coffee and snacks for refreshment while waiting. That, and my cell phone with Intetnet, help pass the time.\r \r As far as service goes- my car is well taken care of whenever I bring it in. At least, I think and hope so. more

Nightmare experience. 1/10/2012

We took our older model Toyota for routine service and got a call that the service technician poked a hole in the radiator, but that they would take care of it by replacing it with a new radiator. That sounded great and very responsible of them. However, a year later it developed a leak. To make a long story short, after talking to a service rep and an employee at the parts counter, they replaced our perfectly good original radiator, that they busted, with a lower quality after market radiator. They said they aren't responsible and that our complaint should be taken to the radiator manufacturer. Be very careful getting service at this location - verify that they are using original Toyota parts and request keeping any old parts they claim they are removing. more

Really impressed 8/9/2011

I'm really impressed with the way I'm treated at Riverview Toyota's service department! They treat me like a valued friend, give me a truly luxurious area in which to wait, and then explain what they did to make my Toyota Camry Hybrid run as well as it possibly can. more

Great salesmanship! 8/2/2011

Pleased with Professional Salesmanship My husband and I had talked about selling my Miata MX-5 to purchase a more ""grown up"" car. I had the Miata listed at Kelly Blue Book private party price on Craigslist, Cars. com, and advertised in our local print newspaper. After months of tire kickers and no-shows, we finally decided we had to trade it at a dealers. Gave me shivers! I hate car dealers! Riverview Toyota staff and my salesperson, Mr. Phillip Mason, changed my assessment of ""sleazy car dealers"" for the better. Mr. Phillip Mason treated me with courtesy and respect. He Listened to my offers and did not give me the awful car salesperson full frontal assault. Of course, I did not get my deal as I had outlined, but the point is that Phillip listened to my requests and facilitated in a professional manner. I always feel that when I go into a dealership I am going to get taken advantage of, it is simply a matter of how much! I highly recommend Mr. Phillip Mason of Riverview Toyota for his professionalism and courtesy. He had superior knowledge of the vehicle I chose to test and purchase and made the experience least painful! more
