From the moment we bought our first bridesmaid dress to the moment I was not able to find a wedding dress for me, I can only say great things about this store. Elizabeth was the most professional, friendly and helpful person ever. She was so attentive every time I came in. In fact, everyone of the sales people there seemed so happy and eager to help. the ladies working belle saison really have a keen taste in style, but they also really worked well with my budget and are super down to earth. They seemed to very quickly understand the type of dress I wanted to purchase. Brides beware, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I live in Houston, and I was told they carried a specific Maggie Sottero dress in my size so that I could see it on before buying it. So after driving 3-4 hrs to get there, I find out they don't have the dress, but said I could look at their other Lace dresses, which were all in size 8!! I wear a size 16 in wedding dresses so needless to say I couldn't get most of the samples on my body. Finally the sales lady, Kim, disclosed that they have dresses in my size. Every dress she picked was the opposite of what I wanted, but she kept trying to put veils on me and wouldn't listen to me at all. I ended up choosing a dress that was the TOTAL opposite of my original vision because she had me convinced that my vision looks terrible on my body type. They only looked terrible because they were 10 sizes too small!!!! I spent almost $1000 on my dress, even with the package discount on accessories AND an additional discount on my dress. The sales lady kept trying to convince me to order a size up so it would qualify to charge me more for a bigger size, when the size I tried on fit perfectly. I finally convinced her I was comfortable with ordering the size I tried on. I thought about purchasing some accessories while I was there, but they were closing. I looked at the price of my veil before taking it off and going to the price counter, (it was $220--which is STILL really high). I told the lady I wanted to get my dress and veil that day. When she told me a price that was way more than I expected, she said, ""oh the veil is $330, WITH THE DISCOUNT"" I was in shock so I looked over the print out of prices. She put the veil in for $330, charged me $10 for the dress bag, AND they had the nerve to charge me $20 to ship the dress to the store from their warehouse! How are they going to charge you more for purchasing one of THEIR dresses that THEY don't keep in the store? How irritating. I didn't purchase the veil that day, thank God. So she said she would call me when it came in, and she did, a few weeks later. So I drove all the way back out to the store to pick up my dress, it fit perfectly. I decided to pick out the free accessories that my package included because I didn't want to go back to Austin, AGAIN. I picked out the shoes, and a head piece. I got to the counter to finalize the order and the sales lady looked at me and said that I had to pay over $65. I got angry, and she was sure to let me know that the package includes shoes up to $60,( there wasn't a damn pair of shoes in there for less than $60, including the flip flops.), so I owed almost $20 for the rest of the shoes and not only that but they were going to charge me ANOTHER $20 shipping charge AND a $20 charge to dye the shoes!!!! I didn't have them dye the shoes, I will dye the damn things myself. I was incredulous. I didn't know what to say. And the sales lady had the nerve to say, ""oh well, we're putting the shoes and the headpiece in the same box so we're only charging you one shipping charge."" And I had to fight to have them ship the accessories to my house for the shipping charge that I WAS PAYING. At no time had they ever mentioned I could have my dress shipped to my house to avoid the cost of a second trip, (gas, food,hotel,etc) At this point I was ready to leave the dress in the store and dispute the charge with my bank to get the money back for the dress. Price gouging galore. This store is NOT one that I would recommend to ANY bride that's hoping for a good experience. I am now searching to locate the dress I originally dreamed of wearing in my size to get a better idea of if I want to keep this one. Pros: None that I can think of. I called and set up an appointment back in Feb of 2009 to pick out bridesmaids dresses with my girls....Kim has been helping me since day one and she is great....the other girls there were so helpful when I needed help with anything. Kim helped me and my girls pick the perfect dress for my wedding. My wedding dress came in early this month, and it came in before the due date. I only have good things to say about this bridal salon....and Kim she was super great....she helped me pick my wedding dress...and then at that I couldn't even try the dress on because the display was too small...I went off of me just loving the way that dress looked off of the rack...and I am glad that I picked it. When it came in this month (October) I tried it on....and I am so happy I picked....my experience at Belle Saison Bridal has been nothing but good and great thus far....thanks Kim. more

I went in and bought a very dirty dress off the store floor room. It was my dream dress but I had to have it altered many sizes down. The saleswoman, Kim was doing everything in her power to sell me the dress including saying there was someone coming in that afternoon to buy the exact same dress. I kept commenting on how filthy it was and she said over and over again that they would take care of the cleaning. Well, what do you know...when I came back to bring it in today they said, they never said that and I'm left with the $85 fee of having it cleaned. We even got the owner to come out and she said no one would have ever said they would clean it for free. Kim was just trying as hard as she could to make her commission. Very very sad!! more

I did not choose my dress here (although they had many great items) but, I had my bridesmaids dresses chosen here. I really loved that they had so many dresses to choose from. I have a pretty hard color in my wedding that I could not find any dresses in. They carried the DaVinci brand (which I hadn't heard of or seen). DaVinci had THE color that I needed. I ordered my wedding dress through Belle Saison and it was a complete joy! Jennifer was my consultant and she was extremely helpful each time I went in. She knew what type of dress would look good on me and catered to what I wanted. My dress was supposed to take up to three months but when they called with my ship date they informed me it would be in within two weeks. I loved the service and would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a hassle free wedding gown purchase! more

So, I went for my first look-see to find a gown for my wedding. Not having done this before, I had no idea that bridal stores are closed on Mondays and that you need an appointment to ""walk in the door"". After checking out another shop that was open and told me (very rudely) that I could ""look"" at dresses but not try them on without an appointment. After being followed around and hounded while I was ""looking"" which made me wonder WHY I couldn't try anything since this sales person obviously had nothing better to do than follow me around, I was ready to call it a day! I went to Belle Saison on Thursday Jan 8 at about 2pm. I went because I found a dress on the knot and it stated the only retailer that carried Jacqueline Exclusive was Belle Saison. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Elizabeth. They politely asked me what I was looking for and I said ""Tulle."" They directed me to the tulle and let me be. Pros: Customer Service!!! I would definitely recommend using Belle Saison Bridal for your wedding shopping! I had an amazing experience! As soon as I got there, I was greeted and immediately met my consultant. It is best if you make an appointment, because then you won't have to share your consultant with anyone else. My consultant, Brianna, was amazing! She listened to all of my ideas and concerns and then helped me find my dream dress. I only had to try on 5 gowns before I found ""the one."" My consultant just seemed to know what I wanted, even though I wasn't sure what I wanted. I was convinced that I didn't want to wear a veil, but Brianna had me try one on with my gown, and by the end of the appointment I had picked out a veil and a tiara to go with my dress. She just knew what would look good together and on me. It is such an amazing feeling to put on and a dress and know that it is the one! So, if you're looking for that kind of feeling and people that truly care about you finding the dress that gives you that feeling, then this is the bridal store for you! I flew in from Iowa to go bridal dress shopping with my mom who lives in the Austin area. Belle Saison was the first salon we went to and the last. The moment we walked in we were greeted by a consultant named Kim Keepers. She asked what styles I was thinking about and showed me where I could find the different ones. As we walked around the store, she would pull dresses that she thought would be of interest. One in particular, I didn't even want to try on because it did not look good on the hanger. But, I agreed to try it because she promised it looked amazing on. In the dressing room, she was always there to assist me in getting into dresses and zipping or lacing them up. When I put on the dress that she suggested, I knew it was the one. Kim knew exactly the style that would look best on me and it showed! I ended up chosing the dress that she had pulled for me and the one that I didn't even want to try on. Kim worked with us every step of the way in finding the perfect veil, headpiece, and jewelry! She truly made my experience stress-free and wonderful! Belle Saison Bridal is truly the best store to go to for selection, quality, customer service, and price! They are wonderful! I'm getting married in Austin in March 2009 and planning the wedding with my family all the way in Louisiana. They came into town for one non-stop weekend of wedding dress shopping and we made appts at 6 bridal salons (national chains and locally owned). Belle Saison was by far superior to all the others in terms of customer service and quality of the dresses. This place had a large selection of sizes to try on, they let me take pictures in all of them for reference later, and treated me like a queen. I would highly suggest working with Pavielle who was my consultant. We moved appts around because of the poor selection at another store where I left my appt early and she found time in her schedule to meet with us. She help me try on at least 12 dresses and matched veils and tiaras perfectly. She never said the word ""no"" and was continually willing to help me find what I was looking for. She had an honest opinion and even helped me decide on jewelry and a hairstyle. I purchased my dress the very next day and plan on returning to get my bridesmaid dresses. more

I shopped at Belle Saison Bridal for my wedding veil, and the staff were courteous and helpful. They helped me to locate the type of veil that I had been looking for, but they didn't pressure me to buy, and they allowed me plenty of time to think about and consider my purchase. What I appreciated the most, though, was the store's solid collection as it provided for me a truly beautiful and unique veil for my wedding. more

I had a great experience at Belle Saison Bridal. They have a great selection, excellent prices, and really nice people working there. My first appointment as right after a really bad experience at Serendipidy Bridal and I was so greatful. I am working with Elizabeth (she is awesome) and even though they accidentally double booked her that day, she was super helpful and patient with me...I'm a very indecisive person. After almost giving up on finding the perfect dress, I found it. Elizabeth was very helpful, patient, and sincere in her opinions of everything I tried on. I'll be getting a lot more than my dress with them though. They have awesome bridal packages which have already made planning my wedding day way less stressful than it could have been. I would highly recommend Belle Saison, especially for first time brides that have lots of questions :) Pros: Great selection, prices, and customer service. Listen to me. Do not go to this shop. These are the worst peopl I have ever dealt with. They seem like a legitimate business who would strive to provide quality product and service. They are very misleading and deceitful. Once they have your money and have sold you product that was promised to be something it was not, they will keep your money, lie to your face, and tell you to screw off. I would not wish this experience on anybody. Buying a wedding dress is supposed to be one the best experiences of your life. If you use this shop, it will be the most heart-breaking decision you coud make. more

i just have to say AWESOME!! I found my dress at Bell Saison and LOVE IT! Exactly what I imagined. Its BEAUTIFUL :) the selection was great...but I knew my dress when I saw it. must have gone back a million times before i actually ordered it though. my girl that helped me (Elizabeth) was so much fun and so easy to work with. and even though i went back so many times she was sooo patient. their new store is beautiful and made me feel like a princess. GO HERE! they are fabulous :) !!!!!!! i will be sending ALL my friends!!! Pros: customer service, great selection Cons: NONE!! more

DO NOT get your bridesmaid dresses from here!! 6 of us ordered the dresses and every single one of them is at least 2 sizes too big! We are paying as much to alter the dresses as we did to buy them. They made one girl order a size 20 and pay extra for the length and the extra size and she has had it made into a 14..which is regular price. They had people ordering size 12 when the ""demo"" size 8 that they had in the store was too big for them. Another bad point is that they only have one dress like the one you are ordering in the store...one size. So, you can't even try it on in another color to see how they are supposed to fit. This store only wants your money and doesn't care about the wedding party or the bride. more

After reading the reviews on Belle Saison, I was suprised to find that most reviewers had a negative experience. I wanted to share my wonderful experience to present another perspective. When I first stepped in, I was not planning on buying the wedding gown just yet, since I was still looking around for ideas. This was my first day to look at bridal gowns. I was greeted warmly and was not pressured to buy right away by my bridal attendant, Kim. At other bridal salons in Austin, I was pressured to consider buying right away, since most dresses can take up to 4 months to order. I came along with a friend who was also suprised at the relaxed atmosphere that made us both feel more comfortable. I tried on several gowns, and Kim was very helpful at getting everything set up for me. When I got to about the third gown, I knew it was the one. At Belle Saison, they offer discount packages to brides that can highly benefit those planning a local wedding. I explained to Kim that I was going to have a destination wedding, so I would not need the extras in the package. She then informed me that she could offer me double the discount if I bought the dress that I had just tried. It fits perfectly and is only going to require altering the length. After only about 2 hours of bridal gown shopping, I had found the perfect dress and would not have to wait for it to be ordered. I bought my perfect wedding gown and have Belle Saison to thank for the lovely experience. My wedding gown even included a nice garment bag that will be perfect for packing my dress to my destination wedding. I was surprised at how easy and relaxing it could be to buy a wedding gown! more
