After reading the reviews on Belle Saison, I was suprised to find that most reviewers had a negative experience. I wanted to share my wonderful experience to present another perspective. When I first stepped in, I was not planning on buying the wedding gown just yet, since I was still looking around for ideas. This was my first day to look at bridal gowns. I was greeted warmly and was not pressured to buy right away by my bridal attendant, Kim. At other bridal salons in Austin, I was pressured to consider buying right away, since most dresses can take up to 4 months to order. I came along with a friend who was also suprised at the relaxed atmosphere that made us both feel more comfortable. I tried on several gowns, and Kim was very helpful at getting everything set up for me. When I got to about the third gown, I knew it was the one. At Belle Saison, they offer discount packages to brides that can highly benefit those planning a local wedding. I explained to Kim that I was going to have a destination wedding, so I would not need the extras in the package. She then informed me that she could offer me double the discount if I bought the dress that I had just tried. It fits perfectly and is only going to require altering the length. After only about 2 hours of bridal gown shopping, I had found the perfect dress and would not have to wait for it to be ordered. I bought my perfect wedding gown and have Belle Saison to thank for the lovely experience. My wedding gown even included a nice garment bag that will be perfect for packing my dress to my destination wedding. I was surprised at how easy and relaxing it could be to buy a wedding gown!
