Linda Withington can do small and large jobs... 8/16/2006

It wasn't clear from this if you want a landscaper or a landscape architect. This review is for an architect to plan a project. We've had her work on a small landscaping, a big one and then a whole front lawn and she's done great each time. Not the cheapest, but you'll get a really creative design that really uses Northwest native plants. If you are looking for the ball of evergreen and the big green lawn, she's not the right person, but she did for us one project where she used waving native grasses that looked just great. In another project, she took a really bare naked lawn and used creative hardscaping to break up the sight lines (a la Central Park or our very own Lake Washington Blvd) to make everything super private. more

Holden and Linda are great... 3/8/2006

In spirit of full disclosure, Linda Beers and Holden Withington are old friends. Linda has done landscape work for us and Holden has helped us on building and remodeling for a long time. Give them a try. Holden is the architect and Linda does the landscape architecture as a husband and wife team and they do remodels, new construction. Most importantly, they are good folks who really listen. Given them a call if you have a chance. For larger projects, I'd recommend John Manos as a builder, but you were asking about architects. In the three remodels we've done the general contractor has been way more important than the architect, but that's just from our POV more

Wonderful Landscape Architect 2/17/2005

I worked with Linda Withington in 2001 to design our yard and garden. It was a great process and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Linda and her staff.
