This amazing place, run by Hassidic Jews is surreal, with it frenzied but organized sales floor and overhead conveyor belts whizzing purchases to the dozen jaded cashiers. There's a reason: the selection, and prices, are the best in the city for cameras, videocams, digital cameras, lighting, tripods and much more. It's best to go in already knowing what you want or you might find yourself dangling from the conveyor belt. more

There's something to be said for a store where the things that you buy are borne to the cash register along an overhead conveyor belt. B&H is a wild place...crowded, harried, packed with the latest in greatest in cameras and photographic equipment. One of my favorite areas of the store is the used department, on the second floor. The folks who work up there are friendly and really know their stuff. Pros: great selection Cons: very crowded more
