Good food at a great price 8/31/2005

Located in Columbia City, Fasica is a neighborhood joint that's been "found." Offering traditional Eithiopian dishes and combos, you eat with the injera bread, rather than utensils. The decor is a bit "divey," but the food is good (sometimes great), and the owners are very, very nice and accomodating. In fact, once we went to eat there in the late afternoon, not realizing that the restaurant closes between lunch and dinner. The owner happened to be coming by at the same time, and he insisted that we come in and eat, even though the restaurant is supposed to be closed at that time! more

Fasica Ethiopian food 7/24/2005

Fasica was the first Ethiopian restaurant I ever visited. The food is quite good and I recommend the vegetarian platter. It's a great deal that will fill two people up for $8.00. The dish comes with injera bread and potatoes, greens, beans and carrots. The also have live music on the weekends. Ethiopian is one of the best deals in town if you want cheap filling food. more
