HELLO GIRLS AND BOYS! I MADE A MISTAKE TO TRY TO FIX MY HI-LITES ON MY OWN, ( I WAS TRYING TO SAVE SOME TIME AND (SOME MONEY)... ... SON I START I REALIZED I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE. I CALL ASTOR PLACE AND SOMEONE RECOMMENDED TO SEE ALAN, ( THEY SAY HE IS ""AN ARTIST"" , WITH THE HAIR )... AFTER ASK MANY MANY QUESTIONS , I SPOKE WITH HIM ON THE PHONE, HE TOLD ME TO COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION, ( HE ALSO TOLD ME THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THE HAIRS, ( IN CASES LIKE MY) I CAME AND I MUST SAY I WAS VERY VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. ALAN GAVE WHAT HE CALLS A "" TRI COLORE TECHNIQUE ", ( 3 COLORS. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT WOULD MAKE THE HAIR MORE NATURAL LOOKING , BECAUSE THE MIXING OF COLORS , GIVES THE HAIR A " WONDERFUL QUALITY AND SHADE. SHE BUTCHERED MY LONG BEAUTIFUL HAIR; MY HAIR LOOKED LIKE A PSYCHO CHOPPED INTO IT; I ACYUALLY FELT MUTILATED LIKE WHAT A KID WOULD DO TO A BARBIE DOLL. Regina's haircuts are the best. 9/18/2008

I've been getting the greatest haircuts from Regina. Strangers have been complimenting me on my hair-- on the street, at parties, at church, and the last time on the JFK airbus. This never happened before I started going to Regina. I came to Astor Hair , and I was send to Alan... I always get a bit nervous when I get my haircut... But, as soon as Alan start to comb my hair, I just knew , he was gonna give me a great haircut/style . I came to get a haircut, but , I end up getting a few Hi-lights... I am Asian , and my hair can be I difficult to do, but Alan raised to the challenge, I am so please !I got my haircut and style,(wash) 45 dollars My hair is past the shoulder about a inch . what a great deal ! 100 % better then a a cut that I've got in Bumble-Bumble hair salon... ( That it was a waste of $120 dollars) Uff... Well Girls and Boys, Come to see Alan , and just let him do his work... I promise you will be pleased! Rita Reigns! 9/4/2008

Rita did my hair and makeup for my wedding and made me look like a true Goddess! She literally designed an entire look for myself and my wedding party and made me feel and look like a celebrity. Her demeanor is sweet and she works her magic with love and respect. Before my big day, she added soft highlights that made my eyes sparkle. I have never had anyone actually CREATE a whole look for me before, but with all of the compliments I got on my wedding day and with the pictures to prove it, I can only say this woman is blessed with great talent, and I am lucky she shared it with me. I'm not the only one to say this--the reviews here brought me to her, and trust me, they are real and so is Rita. She is worth every penny. Rita has worked her magic to color correct my damaged hair and make my hair look like "Sun Kissed California hair" with the best highlights I have ever had in my whole life. I can not say enough good things about the talented Rita. I am a busy producer and my looks (life) totally changed after I met Rita ; she worked her magic on me and gave me a new look which changed my whole life. Rita is known for her incredible transformations. After Rita works her magic, your family and friends will go nuts over your new look. Rita gave me the best cut (something different and new), style, base color and highlights; everyone thinks I had plastic surgery because I have a great new look when actually I had a new look designed by Rita and a special facial too. Rita is the only reason to go to Astor Place Hair! Rita saved my hair; I went to an overpriced salon and effectively had my hair ruined. Thanks to Rita and her true talent she stopped my hair from falling out and gave me back my healthy hair. Rita is professional, artistic and amazing.
