Arne's Auto SVC

I had Arnie?s Auto Service replace my shocks. They told me my car was ready and asked me to pay for the service. When they drove the car to me I could see the traction control warning light flashing. They had broken my traction control when they replace my shocks. He told me he could not fix it now but to bring it back later and he would take care of it. After Arnie?s Auto Service first attempt to fix the flashing traction control light I noticed that the traction control light did not light up when I first started the car. It appeared to me that their first attempt to fix my problem was to disable the warning light bulb. I brought my car back to Arnie?s Auto a couple of more times to get my traction control warning light fixed, but they could not figure out how to fix the problem. This is when they told me that that they did not know how to fix the problem and that I would need to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. I took my car to the dealer and they easily fixed my car by changing a blown out fuse. Arnie?s Auto Service will not reimburse to me the cost of the repair bill from the dealer. Obviously, I will never recommend this repair shop to anyone. more

A friend that worked there told me they do unnecessary work all the time and the boss lies to both his customers and employees. When he questioned the boss my friend was fired on the spot, with plenty of cursing and he flipped him off. I stopped by once with a female friend and she was stared at like a piece of meat and it looked to me like the shop was a complete mess, with old engines and spare part laying everywhere and trash all over the place. Go somewhere clean and organized and always ask to see what's wrong with your car for yourself no matter what shop you go to. Cons: They do unnecassary work more

I just thought I would write this review because I had been looking for a reasonably priced repair shop that wouldn't take me (a chick) for a ride ! Anyways, I was able to drive my car by after I got off of work for them to take a look at it real quick, AT NO CHARGE !! They very easily diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate on the repair, I dropped it off using their night drop box the next morning and it was done and ready by the end of the same day !! I have definitely found my new repair shop !! I have a 2000 Saturn LW2 and had the water pump and timing belt replaced plus an oil change....cost $699 including tax. Nice guys, fast service, reasonable prices, they don't treat you like an idiot = FIVE STARS !!! Pros: Cost, honest, fast Cons: Location ??? more
