This con man use to run an advertising company called American Justice that I found out was a complete con a little too late. He has been conning people for a long time. Learning about this latest abuse of people's trust is no surprise to me but it is quite gratifying for me to see that he has finally been brought to justice for something! more

I had written a review about how great they were and how we got the engagement pictures, but that was before! I had good faith in them that they would deliver and it has now been over two years and we never got the engagement album or wedding albums, or enlargements! Called numerous times and never got a response-finally gave up! Actually still have hope but lost their new number! I am bummed and wished I would have gone somewhere else! We spent so much money-my grandparents helped pay for it and it's sad we never got anything but the proofs. It was over $5000.00 and I could have had a better photographer for that! so bummed! more

It's going to be almost a year of my wedding and I haven't received any album or call.I got some photos but not the rest of them.I would like to know the new people that got married this year 2008 if you have any phone numbers or anything so I could talk to them or go in person where they are. I've been calling them with no answer.Please new couples if you have any information let us know.Thank you more

Alan Brent Photography is a bad, bad, bad business. Many, Many couples are not getting their albums and other items from Alan Brent, not to mention they NEVER answer the phone. Here it is again, just in case: Just want to make as many people as possible aware of Alan Brent Photography, and their lack of professional and effecient service. I've found page after page of complaints online, and they do have a resounding "F" with the Better Business Bureau (last I checked, they have a total of over 60 complaints). A local news station actually did an investigative report on them early this year: http://cbs2.com/goldstein/local_story_045222944.html They are truly robbing people, and are very shady once you are waiting for them to fulfill their end of the contract. (They have changed addresses 3 times since I've been dealing with them, and their phone number once.) They NEVER answer their phone, you have to leave many messages before getting a phone call back, they take entirely too long to send you what you paid for, they have endless excuses and reasons for their lack of professionalism, and yet there's never an apology. I've been married for a year and a half and have yet to receive my wedding album. I had to pay for my framed signing board to be finished by someone else, because apparently they "never" put backing and glass on their frames. It took me months to have them put my photos up online after the wedding. After weeks of phone calls, I had to drive nearly 2 hours to pick up my photo CD's because they never sent them when they said they were going to, time and time again. And that's not as bad as some people have had it. I have many other complaints, but not enough room here to put it all. My biggest concern is the fact that they are still getting business, even after all the heartache they've caused. The day of our daughter's wedding, Alan did not show up. No notice, no reason. Supposedly he hurt his back. Instead, he sent his daughter and two other clowns who took 1200 pictures, mostly all of the same thing, but missed most of the key shots. Not one picture of the bride and her mom together! No good pictures of the attendants, etc. coming down the aisle, no photos of the reception room before anyone came in where we had ice sculptures at each table. No pictures of the tables with the guests. After the wedding it was a joke. Months and months of calls, threats and letters. 15 months after the wedding we got most of what we were promised after having to send back the proofs several times. The wrong color leather on the books seems to be a common theme. Lack of editing is another. One call out of ten was returned with excuse after excuse, particularly when we had to deal with Alan's wife, who was a singlular jerk. Run from this guy as fast as you can or lower your expectation level as low as it can go. more

Did you ever order a combo meal in a drive thru and then get home ready to chow down and then you open the bag and it's not what you ordered. That's how my wife and I feel about Alan Brent Photography. We are two tacos and a burrito short of a combo plate. Getting married is one of the best moments of our lives and you count on the cake to be good, the lights to work and everyone to have fun. Memories only last so long and the photography is the one thing you count on to be there forever. We need albums, pictures, and books to help remember all through our lives. After all that's what we paid for. We chose Alan Brent over many different photographers and are very unhappy with the follow up and delivery of our products. The thing that I can't understand is they will not even call us back. We've called and left numerous messages and written letters and tried to email with no response. This is a criminal act, stealing. It should not happen. I am sure they have a nice TV in their house and watch it every night. As far as I am concerned that TV is mine and I want it. more

Alan Brent Photography still owes me almost all of my wedding photos. The quality I have recieved are ok but you cannot getting things from them in a timely manner and they have not returned my phone calls in the last two months. more

Really poor service. Alan Brent Photography. It's really very simple. The contract stated that they would give us the proofs in three weeks. Three weeks after the wedding, we did NOT have them. They no longer call us back when we call to inquire about when our final albums will be done. Nearly TWO YEARS after sending our selections, we haven't seen any album proofs. They make up poor excuses about how "we forgot to mail..." "We need more information." Of course, they don't tell us this...until we call several times. That situation is now solved, since they don't even bother to call back. We contracted for two photographers. They provided two people with cameras in their hands. One of the "photographers" clearly had little idea what to do. He was basically a "go-fer" to the main wedding photographer. Unprofessional. No, Alan Brent didn't actually show up! It was his daughter. Beware!!! Alan Brent Wedding Photographers. My advice is to avoid them. If you think you won't be defrauded like virtually everyone else, and do pay them, be sure that there are firm, precise delivery dates for all segments of the process (written in the contract), especially the final album proofs and the ultimate final wedding album delivery from Alan Brent Photograpy. NEVER PAY THEM FULLY UP-FRONT!!! If you have firm, clear, written deadlines in the contract, it's much easier to sue them when they fail to deliver...because it seems that they won't deliver. Beware!!! Don't rely on suing them to get your money back, though. They will simply file bankruptcy. There are still dozens of couples waiting for stuff from weddings in 2005 and early 2006. My wedding was in the first half of 2006. Nothing was delivered when it should have been. The only we we got some stuff was to confront them at a wedding show after our wedding. Phone calls are never answered and messages are never returned. As of today we are still missing things. I can say their pictures were good quality but they are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. At this point we have given up on them and purchased the missing items on our own. more

I was married 9/4/05. I hired Alan Brent, and he did not show up.... no explanation; he sent someone else I never met. The wedding photo proofs arrived within SIX weeks, not the promised three. Our engagement photo album was a different, more inferior style than the one we were sold, and we didn't get it until AFTER the wedding. We still have not gotten our wedding album, and I submitted the photos over a year ago. The wedding album we were shown ignored all of the changes my husband and I made to the proof. None of the photos were retouched, and the quality of everything they have (eventually) given us is just awful and completely unprofessional. They even got the leather color wrong. Trying to contact these people is another story. For every 50 messages you leave for them, you might get one call back. There are over 105 couples who are unhappy with Alan Brent. They all can't be wrong. Perhaps Alan Brent is trying to redeem himself now since he has been exposed on CBS, but the fact is.... he has a long history of illegal, immoral, and shady business activity, and you will be sorry if you use him. more

They are absolutely wonderful photographers and they do deliver! We just had our wedding February 17, 2007 and they were there and we already have our wedding pictures! We recieved our engagement photos really fast too, like within a week and a half! We had an amazing time on the engagement shoots, it was fun and the picyures came out amazing! The wedding was days after CBS and they still showed up, if they were really crooks they would have never showed up-because they had already been paid. But they were there and everyone loved them and we are so glad we did not listen to people's advice or the news because we would have missed on some very talented photographers. I highly recomend them and would love to talk to anyone who wants more questions on them! more

My daughter's wedding was July 2006, 6 months later we still don't even have the engagement photos. They don't answer their phones or return phone calls. Before you use them do a google search and found out about all of the unhappy people out there. PDebowski@aol.com more
