Wow! People are getting so fired up about Kain Realty on Judy's Book. I have never posted online website, but I feel like I should add my two cents to this contentious debate.
I really feel that Kain Realty is fine. I have lived in an apartment that they own/manage for four years. I think the apartment is nice and I pay a fair/undermarket price. If something is broken, I have to really aggressively follow up with the super to get it fixed, which can be annoying. But again, I think I pay a fair price and am willing to deal with a little hassle--this is New York. The owner of Kain Realty seems like a nice guy to me--if I take the time to stop in his office and tell him directly about my apartment problems, he fixes them.
The intercom in my building has been broken forever and I have accepted that fact.
I hope I don't get attacked on this website!
