The waxing here is awesome but I decided to give their facials a try as well since the price was right and the place is great. I've had a lot of facials and have to say that Sharon gave the hands down best facial I've ever had! She's fantastic, really listens to your skin concerns and uses great, gentle products (and never tries to sell you products either). It's an amazing experience and prices are super reasonable as well. Of course, the waxing is the best in town as well, I won't go anywhere else!

I get peels and Botox at cosmitique med spa a few doors down and was referred to Crome, and they are the best! The stylists are all so sweet and they even added money in the parking meeter! I like that they have bumble and bumble products! My new favorite salon!!!

I am doing research on Dr. Ramin Sarshad. I came across from a referral from a friend, and decided to do some online research before I went to go see him. I see that he was one of 9 doctors back in 2007 indicted for billing fraud, and that he would be going to court in February 2008. What was the result of that court session? and what does the dr. have to say about this to reassure his patients?

For the price, you can't beat this place! I love their attitude of "no-nonsense zen". The massage therapists are skilled and careful. The prices are incredible and the studio is antiseptically clean, no-frills and inviting.

I work in the ER (emergency room) longs hours (12 hour shifts 5 days a week) and lots of stress (both physical and mental). Even though I'm in the medical field I try to do things naturally, in other words, I've seen the benefits of medication but I have also seen the devastating addictions and side effects.
When I developed neck pain/headaches a few weeks ago I saw in the local paper that Atlas Chiropractic Center was voted the best chiropractic office in Culver City for 2008. So I called and made an appointment for a free consultation...Dr. Beteta did a thourough exam and he explained the basic Chiropractic philosophy...locate, analyze and correct spinal misalignments to remove nerve interference and restore normal function. He took some x-rays (to rule out fractures, pathology and postural changes) then adjusted me by hand. After only one adjustment the neck pain was 10% better but the headache was gone instantly.
Dr. B explained that 10% of his patients have miraculous results, 10% may have a slight negative reaction and 80% have little to no improvement after the first couple of adjustments. But he noted that all 3 reactions were normal. I'm still under care and I continue to improve a little every visit (FYI: headaches are still gone).
I'm very happy to have found this great Chiropractor and I highly recommend you try him.

This little Culver City jewel near the hub of Downtown Culver City exceeded my expectations. The Wellness Spa is a pretty 'no-frills' spa with four rooms; two for skin-care treatments and two for massage. It is a clean, nurturing space and the massage I received four days ago was superlative. The therapist who worked on my chronically sore neck was clearly very experienced and although at times the deep tissue was pretty intense, I could feel it was addressing what I needed the most. I have been pain-free for the past three days after having almost daily unbearable headaches and a sense of a pinched nerve. My therapist made me more aware of using my own breath to assist him with his work and getting in touch with breathing deeply made all the difference to how I felt afterwards. For $75 for an hour (excluding gratuity) I am very appreciative and feel I spent my money well.

They took care of everything: found a location, secured all the rentals, came up with really cute centerpieces and reasonable decor package. They came out to meet with my team and were so professional. Their food is awesome. They are the total package. I can't wait for the event next month.

I love the staff here, I have been going to this studio for a few years now, and I have never had an unpleasant visit.
I have a 7 month old daughter, and I'm in the studio about every 2-3 weeks. And I have never ever had a bad session.
I do recommend please be on time, because they get busy, I had to wait a little over an hr, because I was about 30-45 mins late, but what did I except? Most studios would have to you to reschedule.
Very friendly group of people. I adore Grace she is amazing, She is great, her staff are also great.
The Portrait club membership is very useful, if you take a lot of pictures like myself.

This gym is fantastic. You'll learn Krav Maga from some of the most experienced teachers in the United States, one of which, John Whitman, is also the author of the bestselling book "Complete Krav Maga", while another, Brent Wilkening, just recently became a police officer. The classes are not overcrowded, so you get a lot of personal attention from these instructors.
Krav Maga is a system developed by the Israeli army and it will teach you self-defense for common attacks such as chokes and bear hugs, but also how to deal with higher level threats, such as attacks with knives and guns and later rifles, multiple attackers with weapons etc. It has a lot of exhausting drills that will make you sweat and at the same time teach you effective and easy to learn self-defense techniques. Once you start Krav Maga, you will get hooked very fast.
There is also Crossfit, which is an exercise method that offers different workouts everyday and is designed to improve your overall strength and agility. The Crossfit room at Focus is half open, so you can perform many of the exercises outside and get plenty of fresh air while doing it, much better than just being inside a closed gym. There is a very beautiful residential neighborhood adjacent to the gym, so you have a nice view while working out, and for some of the exercises you get to jog right through this neighborhood, which is very nice.
The Crossfit exercises are challenging, but you can scale them down to your level and then gradually build them up as you get stronger. They are fun, as the workouts vary each day and won't be repeated for a couple of weeks. When they ARE repeated, you can compare your time from the previous exercise and see how much you have improved.
There are also bag classes and BJJ classes, the latter of which also don't have too many students and you even get to work and spar with the teacher sometimes and get personal attention throughout the class. The bag classes are fun and tough at the same time.
The overall facilities at Focus are very nice as well, there are very clean, luxurious bathrooms and locker rooms, a small student lounge with a sofa and armchair and a small shop where you can conveniently buy equipment and cold beverages.
I would highly recommend this gym - the staff, the instructors, the students, all are very friendly and it's just overall a great atmosphere there. I'm very happy I found it. I actually live in Hollywood and drive a total of one hour to get there and back, but it's worth it for me, as I just prefer it over any gym I have seen in my own neighborhood.
