Review content:
WaMu is a great bank. Their new free checking account, is really all that. First of all, it's *truly* free - there are no monthly fees, no fees to talk to a teller, no fees to call the 800 number and no fees to bank online. On top of that, you get free checks for life (cool!) and 3c back on every debit card purchase you make. Those are some pretty nice perks.
I also like all of the charitable work that WaMu does in the community. They recently partnered with Oprah on a Habitat for Humanity project and the list goes on. I hear they're pretty good to their employees to, so that may be why the tellers I've encountered have always been friendly and helpful.
