Businiess name:  Primary Care Physicians of Atlanta
Review by:  Jack S.
Review content:
For almost 3 years I saw physicians at Primary Care Physicians of Atlanta and can honestly say the doctors were great. The office staff on the other hand were very inflexible and not understanding. One day I arrived at their office and requested to sign a form for the release of my medical information and got into a arguement with their front office staff who were making very difficult for me to quickly rush in and out to release my information and I didn't have any money to pay for parking so I needed to be in and out within 20 minutes. Needless to say the front office staff was extreamely rude and insensitive. I met with the office manager and explained the situation while also apoligizing for my own rudeness. A few days later I had my yearly physical with their physician without any difficulties. About a month later I became very ill and called to make an appointment with my physician, which at that time I was told that I had been discharged. I had not received any written notice nor verbal notice from my physician. I called my health insurance company and they also had not received any notice that I had been discharged either. I was without any primary care physician. I had to wait until Jody the office manager called to explain why I had been discharged and not notified. Jody informed me that I had been rude to her staff and that I was discharged. I asked if there was some sort of resolution that I could make and she said no. Jody at that time called my insurance company to report me being discharged from their practice never to see any of their physicians again. My insurance company is making a full investigation into this situation so be fully warned that if you do see any doctors at this practice be sure not to upset the front desk workers!!
