Since I don't live in Ithaca anymore, I can't even say if this restaurant is still in business, so I hope someone can tell me it is!
Owned by a local couple (Kope being the owner!) this small establishment is one of my most favorite places to dine. Not because of a vast selection or dishes you can't find anywhere else, but because of the charm.
Of the many times I dined here the owner's would come out and socialize with you, share stories and just essentially make you feel welcome. Something you can't really say about a lot of eateries these days. The decor here is also priceless! I started going here from the day they opened and even contributed to some of the license plates hanging on the walls!
Five stars from me! And I highly recommend the garage fries! YUM!
