I took some silver dollars to Rocky Mountain Coin to sell recently. Though I am not an expert, I did look up the "melt" value of the coins. RMC offered me less than the melt value of the coins, even though one of the dollars was quite valuable. When I questioned the price, they became rude. I went next door to Dave's Gold and Silver Exchange. He offered me more than two and a half times the price and was pleasant to work with. He earned my business and made the sale, and he will be the one I go back to.
