My transmission was replaced two years ago by Dave's trans Service. When I took my van in to service it he said I needed a new transmission. I paid 2500 and now it is 20,000 miles later and I went to another shop for the service light engine and that shop told me that my transmission was going out. They referred me back to Dave's and said he should take a look and take care of it since it was so recent and less than 36000 miles. \r
When I took it to Dave's he told me it would cost another 1500 to repair and he did nothing to help me out. Dave's told me they found metal pieces in my transmission and wanted to charge me to fix it while other second and third opinions have said that I will need a new transmission. \r
He does not guarantee his work. He makes excuses and I don't know if he really ever actually did replace my transmission in the first place. I will never go there again and I strongly do not recommend this shop. \r
