I had a carpet installation done on 9/5/14 in my master bedroom and bath. The carpet is fine. That's all they did correctly. They destroyed my baseboards. They destroyed the paint on my walls. Scratches, and not small scratches, thigh high to the floor. A spot of glue from the flooring is splotched in the middle of my bathroom wall and the paint is scratched off my cabinets. They charged my for pulling up my toilet but neglected to tell me I even had to pull it to start with. They stated in the paperwork that the baseboards needed to be installed prior to the carpet and FLOORING. I know enough to NOT install baseboards before flooring, so I did not comply with that stupidity, but I did do the baseboards on the carpeted area, though I didn't feel good about it. My dumb. Thanks GMA. After five days, they finally got back to me and scheduled an inspection of the damage for ONE WEEK FROM NOW, Wednesday the 17th. This isn't the whole story. Five times they got the quote wrong. Twice, they screwed up the measurement. Why did I think they were going to improve? Next stop is a complaint to the Board.
