Review content:
We were faced with a very hard decision of moving my mother-in-law who has Alzheimers from her home and into a facility. However, she was not to the point that we felt she needed to be in a nursing home - far from it. Winkler House was a God-send for us. The staff is the most caring anywhere I have ever seen and the facility is extraordinary. The private apartments allow the residents to live without losing all of the independence and they are monitored as needed but are allowed to live as independently as possible. The residents are ALL happy there ! They have wonderful food three meals a day - 7 days a week prepared by their staff cook. The administrator is more than willing to do whatever is necessary to make the resident and family comfortable. \r \r Thanks to Winkler House and their staff. We can't tell you how many times we have made the comment about how fortunate we are that they are in Carthage.
